I'm currently watching BBC3, just so I might get a glimpse of the Tigs trailer :rotfl:.

I'm gonna be as famous as the Stig soon :D It's only my bump ....
I will need to set a reminder on my TV for Tigs big moment! Andrew is super cute in person, though I was quite gone with the wind by that point so I only recall vague snippets (and I managed to trash a toilet :o)

    Awwww, thanks.

PS - Next time, don't drink so much wine at the hotel beforehand :rotfl:

I'm blaming Jason :p But yes, I will behave myself and stick to water at the Glasgow meet :D (well until night time at least)

I'm going to bawling out to Keira "Ooooh I know that baby you know!"

    Evening all!

I'm so pleased for you Mel, so so so pleased! I hope you can put the first 8 weeks of T's life behind you and concentrate on enjoying everything that is to come! :j

Just to clear things up, I havent been involved in any nasty behind the scenes PM-ing. And to my knowledge there hasnt been any nasty beind the scenes PM-ing over the past couple of days either. A bit of food for thought there, for people assuming things that arent happening are happening! I cannot and will not apologise for having an opinion. That is all.

    So, how is everyone? :D

Susan - How far into your pregnancy are you? A month or so? Are the symptoms (sickness, tiredness etc) similar to when you were pregnant with Alice or did it take a while before they came about?

I remember I got sick at around 7/8 weeks.
I'm 6+5. At this point with Alice I was in hospital on a drip and I hadn't been able to continue with my normal every day life since three weeks. I'm not sure how tired I was at this point because they gave me anti-emetic medication which made me drowsy. I am tired now but I blame it on the cold we've all just had for two weeks - Alice would wake up and cry and then once we were woken up, OH would sniff and throat clear so we would end up awake for ages in the night. I have been feeling nauseous - earlier on it was throughout the day but not too bad but now it's more or less just first thing in the morning. The fat on my stomach which appeared when I was pregnant with Alice has definitely grown - I can't remember eactly when it appeared with but I definitely remember noticing it before I was in hospital so I guess it was similar time. Istarted this pregnancy with my waist an inch bigger than last time so I guess I'd better not have twenty children or I'll be massive.
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.

Amber can drink through a straw! Does this mean she's no longer a baby? We bought the boys those cups with the straws that wind round the cup (they have lids too) and she grabbed one, I thought she was just chewing at the straw, but no, she was helping herself to juice.

I think you can get baby beakers with straws? Might get her one. She's only just started using a cup for juice.
We have tesco own brand cups with straws, they have a silicone straw which eventually she will realise can be bitten off though (we've only got one left and its on its way out now
Tia, Caitlyn's a wizz with a straw too... She shucked back nearly a whole carton of apple juice the other day!

I don't have any cups with curly straws though... They don't go through the dishwasher well...
:rotfl:this would be why there is a pile of straws at the side of the sink which will probably just end up in the bin when I'm sick of the sight of them, I cba cleaning straws!
Ahhh D gazes at my tea too. He also likes chewing water :D

Where is Elle? Is she on hols....I can't remember seeing any FB updates lately...
She's in wales having fun but can only get a really pants mobile t'internet signal if she stands on one leg with the lappy on her head :rotfl: (not really but you know what I mean ;))

Mel your post was so lovely to read! I'm so pleased for you :D

Glad to hear you're not involved Em, it was just the way your post was written, it seemed to imply that you and others had been discussing MOTM. But do you think it's right to call him a 'bit of a drip'? I didn't think that was very nice.

In other news, I'm going to a party this weekend and there is a competition for the most innovative cake baked at the party, does anyone have any ideas?

Innovative as in decoration or ingredient Jenny?

Susan, the thermos cups I linked to, you have to tip them back to get the water out, the straw is only on the lid so it's more of a slip top spout than a straw into the cup...
