    Evening everyone. :D

I'm shattered. I've spent most of the day outdoor ironing, and supervising the children in the paddling pool. Typically, the last day of the school holidays is the first day it's been warm enough for the paddling pool.

I've now got three children in bed sleeping. No.1 has nice new uniform hanging up ready for the morning. :D

No.3 is having a day with daddy while me and No.2 go to Blackpool to see Robbie switch on the lights. :j I'm taking my best man friend and his daughter, and we're going to go early to sample the fairground. I haven't been to Blackpool (apart from for a hen night) since I was a child.

Tia MIL picked up a fairy cup with lid and straw from either Wilkinsons or Home & Bargain this week for us, it's very pink and pretty.

Mel Your earlier post was lovely! I'm so glad you're back to your usual happy self and you can enjoy all four of your children.

SS Did I see that Miss Molly has a tooth? :T About bl00dy time too! :rotfl:

And that Glams Jack was walking? Surely not, he's only a teenie tiny baby.

About time indeed, Little Miss Baldy Gums was starting to fray my "what, I'm not worried, I've never seen a five year old with no teeth, have you?" bravado a bit :rotfl::o

And  did I miss that Jack was walking?!?!!? Go Jack!! :j Or, um, good luck Glam?

  • SS - I forgot to say earlier - Yay for teeth.

I was like that over Katies speech, I now can't keep her quiet. Her new game tonight was pick up her non working cordless phone whilst I was on the phone and copy every word I was saying! She then proceeded to ring all her cousins.

  • I should really shift myself and decide what clothes I want to wear over the weekend!

I've not packed anything yet, I have a lovely list all ready for ticking off though.

Glad to hear you're not involved Em, it was just the way your post was written, it seemed to imply that you and others had been discussing MOTM. But do you think it's right to call him a 'bit of a drip'? I didn't think that was very nice.

In other news, I'm going to a party this weekend and there is a competition for the most innovative cake baked at the party, does anyone have any ideas?

Jenny I have recipe at work for courgette cake if you want it...its dead easy...I'll PM you tomorrow if you want?

Have lost my beetroot cake one and cant find it cos all the ones on the internet have chocolate in them and mine didnt!
