    Hi everyone.

So... there's this girl.. she lives in a flat near my mam. She is on the swap list and wants a 1 bed house (no area specified).

The plan is- to get Girl to want to live in my 2 bed house and we swap. Then, my mam moves into the flat, and i have mam's house.

Sound like a plan? Except.. she will prob say no as she only wants one bedroom. So then i've got to find someone who wants my house, with a nice 1 bed house or flat that Girl would want, and she lives there, they live here, mam lives at hers, and i live at mam's.

It's totally, totally do-able. All i need to do now is stalk the Girl and find out: a) does she want my house, or b) if not, where does she want to be, and i'll find someone for her.

    Confused? :D

lol beenie! I can't see why someone in a 1 bed flat wouldn't want to move to a 2bed house, unless will it be alot more rent?
Can you trust your mum to keep to her word/not cause any trouble if the flat will be in your name? (or will it be in her name?)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

The flat would be in her name, and i'd have her house in my name.

It's got loads of bad points, as in it's wellllll out of date. There's no gas, only electric storage. No shower or nuffink. She says she can't manage it on her own (it's a small house tho) and spends all her time in one of the bedrooms so would be better in a flat. It's prob the same size as my house here, even though it's a 3 bed, but 2 of them are tiny box rooms lol. Don't care bout that though, it's a better area than this.

She's lived there since i was 1yo so doesn't want to just give it up for some random chavs to move in, so she wants to try and get me it somehow... problem is she wants to stay in that area and there are only a select few flats she'll take (i.e not in a block).

Oh and the Girl has specifically asked for a 1 bed house and i searched her email address on fb (;)) and she looks a chav, sooooo i'm thinking she is on the dole and only gets rent paid for a 1 bed place? Her current flat is 2 bed.

Beenie not sure but up here in Aberdeen, council won't let you exchange if there aint enough/ too many people. So if they work like up here, they won't let that bird have your 2 bed cause it would be under occupied?

Course Aberdeen could just be w@nkers :D but they don't like giving houses and shizzle up here if you aint gonna fill the rooms.

Which is proper crap cause I could of perhaps persuaded some dude to house swap with me in my mums area but he had a 3 bed so the council would of said no to me straight off. I AM IN DIRE NEED OF A MOVE! I looked at Aberdeen swap lists its all crap areas, or people wanting a 4 bed house for their 2 bed flat in scabby area (lol as if ) and most say NO SKYSCRAPERS. Oh well that's me out then :p even if I lured someone here, the pure state of the house would put them off :rotfl:scabby cat scratched doors, ripped up carpet from cats, half my bathroom tiles have fell off, the kitchen is flooded. Why effing bother!!

I think you're right but my mother reckons it's different with a swap?

Council must stick their nebs in round here cos they told the woman i wanted to swap with that i wasn't allowed a 2 bed, cos i have 2 kids. Which is obviously bullocks cos i'm in a 2 bed now and am not allowed a 3 bed until DS is 11.

So if that's thecase i don't know how mother thinks she'll be allowed a 2 bed flat, but her house and that area is housing association and they have different rules... Like, if i was top of the list they'd offer me a 3 bed now, cos they have no 2 bed houses. But they have 2 bed flats but don't allow people with kids to live in flats.

Meh i'm confused... Not getting my hopes up of course.

Beenie, there is a house across the road from me just gone on the market at £1.1million would that do? Lol, don't assume from that that I live anywhere nice! I'm in poky two bedroom flat (and one of those is only big enough for a single bed) with a drug dealer downstairs.

Who was talking about their oh getting the snip? I've had a friend find out she is 14 weeks pregnant and her OH had the snip years ago. She reckons there was a 1 in 4000 chance of her getting pregnant with him.

lol omg, that's mansion prices :eek:The dumphole i'm living in now is prolly worth about £40k.

Hmm just had a gander cos one opposite was sold... £80k in 2006.

Oh!! I forgot to say... Yesterday when my mother visited.. She was walking down the street and she was like (she is such a loudmouth) Oh my god lok at the state of it round here now it used to be alright, just shows how people lower the tone of it"

And WHO should walk down the street and knock at Mrs Moron's door at that very moment? The "tenancy enforcement officer" for the council (not just this area). My mind was ticking overtime about what that could have been about... (This is after Mrs Moron saw my mother was here and told her she was "cutting some tiles so that's what the noise would be". ORLY? I kept my mouth shut for once.) I thought... maybe they've asked permission to make some improvements and he was going to inspect.. but no - he is the guy that decides when people get evicted, and all the high level stuff... not poxy adjustments.

And then after we got back from the park and i went to put the dog in the house while mam waited in the car, Mrs Moron was at Chavette's door, talking about me (i heard my name) and when she realised i was walking past they all started laughing and one of the Brats said "are you moving out?"

And then today, Mrs Moron collars me in the street and says she has copied Toy Story 3 onto DVD for my DS, and has some dog chews for Maggie. Well...... !!!!!!?? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO BE NICE TO ME??? I am suspicious. What ARE they up to??? I wasn't friendly back, i would have come across as 'surprised', 'civil' and 'bemused'.

Okay enough waffle from me. I did say i was going to go to bed at 10 tonight. Doh

Wow, that has to be a trusting relationship. I would bet it put questions in most people's minds.
