Not sure, its all about the BMI BABY! Utter pants if you ask me, my calves are ridiculously muscly, and muscle is healthier than fat, but I think they take into account how much they will remove and im sure he said it was about 3kg of skin and fat before so then I would be below target?

Going to head to bed as one of my nipples is now aching (seriously am broken) Night Night beenie!

Morning all, I've tried to catch up but there's too many pages lol

Well E had a good night again, it's his second in a row, went to bed at 7 and had a bottle, then woke at 12.30 then at half 6 let's hope he can keep that up and eventually drop the middle of the night bottle lol

    What's everyones plans?

My boss text me last night, my form for part time has been put in, and there is a meeting on Tuesday where they will decide if i get it, I really don't know what i will do if i don't get it

And WHO should walk down the street and knock at Mrs Moron's door at that very moment? The "tenancy enforcement officer" for the council (not just this area).

    How weird!

Kindof they have to give you a really good reason if they say no. have there been other people go part time before?

Lady - yeah, my mam works there and is part time, I work for the dwp and there are thousands of people working there, but there is a bit of a freeze on at the minute with increasing and decreasing their hours, I think I have more chance cos of Elliot, whereas if i didn't have a child I would have less chance, my fear is as well that they ask me tom move teams.

My manager is teeing her hardest for me, she helped me fil the form in, and shes making sure they knowshe needs me, cos before I went on mat leave she was going to make me her deputyetc etc, and we got my form filled in so quick cos the boss who would. Def say noise on hol, so we got it in before he came back cos the person who decides cos he is off is farer

  • Oh my, it all sounds very political. I do know that if someone asks to go part time because they are (now) a parent the company has to try and accomodate it and can only say no for a selection of reasons, where it wouldn't be possible to cover the extra work you would have done by someone else. In a big employer like that then they don't have much of a leg to stand on imo, because even if they can't/won't take one someone else to work (say) the other 2 days you're not working, if the team is big enough they should be able to accomodate the work that would have been done into the rest of the team. They can ask you to work part time in a different way from what you have proposed (so that you are working the days they are busiest or something), rather than just agreeing with what you propose, but they have to try and make it work iyswim.

Yeah I see what you mean Lady

Thats hopefully one of the pluses is that I want to work, mon, tues and wed and they are the busiest days on my section as we have people off part time on those days (2 on a monday, 2 on a tuesday and 1 on a wednesday), whereas there is no one off on a thurs, and one off on friday, so we are hoping they will accept my request

beenie - really hope you can get your swap sorted, how fab would that be for you all. Funny your not allowed to be in a flat, thats all we ever seem to get offered here. Yeay for your mum having at least one use in being scary lol.

Kindof - hope you get your PT hours sorted. I have to start thinking about mine here too, for me tho it wont be an issue too much as I know there desperate to get me back what ever I can do, just hope if we move and I need to re arrrange hours after that they'll still be so accomodating.

Well gotta walk down to Tesco again later, OH forgot we had run out of dog food! even tho I asked yesterday if we needed anything.

That sounds doable Beenie... As long as your Mum doesn't end up doing one over on you and you end up with a 2bed flat...

My little girl starts year 2 today

And my little brother is coming round with my baby nephew :D:D:D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hmm... E does love his bed but his night sleep has definitely back-slid... last night had to resettle him at 12.30, 1.30, 4.15, and then 6.15 for 20 minutes more (teaching him he stays in bed until the sleeping star turns into the wake up! sun...). Grrmph.

DK - where do you go to see the HV I went today too :D Im thinking now T is sitting I might give the Friday morning baby group a go, think some interaction with other littles might do her some good, do you still go?

    Hi Som

We went to West Byfleet - I always go early as it gets packed.

We do go to Friday group, we're going this morning if you fancy it. It's from 10 till 1130 at St Marys Hall in Byfleet - will see you there if you make it.

Just catching up - anyone remember me waiting for worksurface men yesterday? They were meant to come on weds and didn't. Turns out they were fitting Harry Hill's worksurface. I'm not sure how to feel about being bumped for a celeb!
