  • Quick stop as I have packing and a job application to do - still having issues with my leave entitlement, boss doesn't think the law applies to his company.

    Hugs to everyone.

 I won't see you on Saturday Hammy, but I wish D a speedy recovery.

I'm currently trying to get a very excited but snotty 3 year old to sleep.

There will be cute pictures - I've booked her a pony ride :)

I am mucho jealous of the pony ride. I cannot wait until H is old enough. I keep threatening to sit him on a shetland pony!

Ps. I'm 99.999% sure no one here needs to worry about abusive PMs they have only been mentioned by one person, nobody else has ever mentioned it, (if you are thinking of what Tara said, she said people were !!!!!ing - which I agree is not nice but is not the same thing)
When I referred to what Tara said, I was meaning what was implied by emlou's post i.e. that people had been discussing motm either by PM or elsewhere.

We've just had drama here... Caitlyn managed to get bitten on the toe by one of the rats! She's all calm now and it only bled a bit... Don't think it's going to help her upset tummy being all hysterical like that though... She's gone quite flushed so I think I'm just waiting for her to be sick again...
 I got bitten by my friend's rat once.

Mel, what a lovely post, it gave me something in my eye :o
    Alfie likes tea :o

I've picked a pound and a half of blackberries today. Going to go get the ones from my dad's garden tomorrow then make jam :)

I don't think there's anything wrong with giving them small amounts of tea, but Molly's backwash habit means she doesn't get any from my cup and I don't want to put it in her sippy cup so she can stain her shirts.

Enjoy the blackberry jam - are you enjoying all the OS homemakey stuff as much as I am?

I was on last night and saw the post by Tia that was deleted. I haven't posted until now as I'm not sure what to say and I don't like arguing with people that have helped me in the past but here goes: I was totally shocked by the vehemence of Tia's post, I don't think anyone accused her but she decided to rant anyway and the name calling in it was totally unnecessary. I'm not surprised it was removed. I'm also shocked by the nature of the pm'ing that must be going on although I knew it was happening as that's why Tara left.

If MOTM isn't real so what? (I think he is) he hasn't harmed or even offended anyone on here and if he is real there is no need to name call and !!!!!.

JM she said b1tching behind peoples back by PM - as I say not very nice but not the same as sending a nasty PM to someone IYSWIM.
I don't want anyone feeling like they may get a nasty PM because I truely believe it won't happen, I feel like I know most of you pretty well, I've been around for a few years, have met a bunch in RL and seen you FB etc and I'm confident that no one needs to worry.

    ....:)

So we don't need to worry because if bad things are being said about us we won't see them? Wow, that makes me feel better.

    ...

However in my ignorance I find your reference to a departed PT poster un needed, Moneymaker has not posted here for a long time.
And neither is your hounding of Sami required, she can defend all she wants, and so can I. And believe me it is not a case of the lady doth protest too much.

    ...

Just have to correct you here WM, MM posted straight after Tia posted in support of Tia, her post should still be there.

I feel the need to post so that everything is clear, for the regulars that are confused because of Tia's deleted post etc. For a while now many of us regular posters have been thinking that something about MOTM just doesnt quite add up basically, whether that be that he isnt real or that he is real but just a bit of a drip. For me the "hmm, really?" point was buying cars and talking about buying prams for new babies when Lucy is less than 10 weeks PG, and the abusive midwife measuring her uterus when simple scientific facts mean there isnt actually anything to measure until 20+ weeks. Theres more but S is monstering so I havent time to go into it.

Last night somebody allegedly sent him an abusive PM, but we dont know who it was and he hasnt said.
I've kept this post calm and not abusive in order that it might actually stay up, even if he does report this one too.

So are you involved in the PMing behind peoples backs then? I think we can tell who else from who thanks which posts. The name calling in your post was uncalled for. When carrying twins people tend to retain more water so this could have caused the midwife to consider twins. I'm really am saddened that people I though were nice may not be what they seem.

I also don't see why anyone is picking on agscully, that is also uncalled for.

Thank you Miroslav for coming on her and defending MOTM. I hope you do make some progress in stopping the nastiness directed at MOTM.

I'm hoping the person who sent the pm to MOTM will apologise, I also think Tia and Em should but I don't think they will, and that the people gossiping and being nasty behind peoples backs will stop -it's just not on.

  • NMS, what formula is he on? Because apart from the soya ones, they're all cows milk based...

He's on normal SMA - which I know is derived from cows milk, but his eczema has only been a dry rash before this outbreak and the only thing that has changed is his milk.
NMS - Is Liam under a paediatrician? I would recommend it if he isn't. They have access to more medication and treatment than GPs and health visitors. Liam would be able to try a few hypoallergenic formulas - pepti junior and neutramigen are recommended.

He's not - we're under the community nursing team that are based at the hospital...they seem set on treating his eczema, and on-going treatment but not on find out what has caused the outbreak.
  • Aw Mel what a lovely post :grinheart
  • Katie like tea, she drinks decaff though out of a cup.

Last nights events made me uncomfortable, that's all I have to say on the matter.

Mel - your post made me all warm and fuzzy.
