Aw, thanks hun.
I think cutting out dairy is the next logical step but I'm scared. Being FF, he's only had water and formula, until 1 when we switched to water and cows milk. I don't really want to give him toddler formula because thats the vanilla stuff but if I don't give him cows milk, what do I give him???
ATM I'm mixing stage 2 formula (2oz) with 4oz goats milk, just to lessen the about he's getting and we've completly cut out yoghurts and cheese.
I have been lurking but not posting - David had a terrible reaction to an egg I ate a few days ago and he has been quite poorly
. We had projectile vomiting, painful tummy and really bad eczema so I am going to withold trying goat's milk for now
I really hope David feels better soon...that's so much for a little un to go through.
Are you ok?
I have no idea about UHT sorry. It is so hard seeing them suffer isn't it

Our GP told us to avoid eggs with Lily because of her Eczema and DHs hsitory of allergys. I hope he is ok otherwise xx
You can see the reaction straight away if Liam has egg - he gets a red rash round his mouth.0 -
NMS, what formula is he on? Because apart from the soya ones, they're all cows milk based...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Just popping on to mention that my local Somerfield have Huggies nappies on BOGOF. Somerfield has been taken over by co-op, although they haven't 'converted' all the stores, but they do sell co-op products......sooooo, the same offer may be in co-op's??
Kids are back to school tomorrow, they are NOT happy, I bet they come home glowing though. As much as they moan about going, they enjoy it and miss their mates when on holidays.
I also just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words when I was going through a bit of a tough time after having T. I am pleased to announce that I am feeling much better (still have off days, but very few) AND more importantly, T is now 10wks old and I can say with certainty that I love her with all my heart, since she was about 8wks old I started having feelings towards her. I feel so guilty that it took so long and that I was so dismissive of her when she was born, I could barely bring myself to hold her, but now I don't want to put her down, I love her smiles, and the way she 'talks' at me, she is so beautiful too...I am a very lucky mum to have 4 such gorgeous children:) So again, Thank You all xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Awww redmel, gald to hear you are feeling better and that you have 'clicked' with T. On balance, it was only 8 weeks and you will so make up that time with her. Will make you a stronger person too.0

Mel - I am so pleased to hear you say that
Please don't feel guilty, it was totally out of your control and the most important thing is your relationship with T now x Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Aww, Mel that last paragraph gave me goosebumps! I am so pleased that you are now enjoying mummyhood, and easy as it is to say but I'm going to say it anyway, you should not feel guilty for taking some time to bond. T is very lucky to have such lovely parents and big brothers!
FBB- hope you have a better night tonight and that it was just a one off. Glad it went okay at work today.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

:j:j:j I'm very glad to read you are feeling better. Don't blame yourself that things didn't follow the textbook plan. Hormones are rubbish, and you have no control over them.

NMS - Is Liam under a paediatrician? I would recommend it if he isn't. They have access to more medication and treatment than GPs and health visitors. Liam would be able to try a few hypoallergenic formulas - pepti junior and neutramigen are recommended. The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents
