Levi reminds me of the jeans and the awful feral children around here. I like Reuben. I went to school with a boy named Rowan, I thought that was a cool name but not TOO out there.
I was undecided on Keira's name, I had narrowed it down to Summer (but I knew people would call me a chav!) AmberKeira and Kayleigh and Carly.
I love K names, they are the best
Keira has made friends with the drug dealers kid in nursery, her name is demi and everytime I hear it I just think "half" You'd never be a whole0 -
We're still debating boys names. A girls name will be straight forward so we haven't looked at them yet. OH is worried that names such as Reuben, Levi and Malachi are too unusual.
I like those names.
I also like Jacob but if Squeak had been a boy she would have been Zachary. Mostly because I knew everyone would think Jacob was a Twilight inspired name and it was OH who wanted Zachary (well he wanted just Zak and I objected to half a name) snd he usually wins, I just can't say no to himMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Levi certainly isn't unusual Susan, and I don't think Reuben is either. Malachi might be the most unusual of all of them (but it's the one I like best

ETA: I came up with lots of names for Squeak but OH's choice was the only one that 'fitted' with the other names.
If I'd had the twins first they'd have more interesting names.
Also I know I was 17 and 19 at the time but I found my twin pregnancy to be the easiest!
This time I really suffered with pelvic pain and tiredness, not to mention being told I have MS in the last week
Never thought about names that fit. I suppose the choices this time area bit different to my other girls.
Sounds like people different experiences and none are the same and you cannot predict. You can make the will beforehand as long as it's made clear that you intend it to be valid after you get married (which your current will obviously won't).
In your shoes, I'd probably put together some information detailing why you want someone else (i.e. Lucy and not the biological mothers) to have guardianship if you die. I imagine that a court looking at evidence of the biological mothers' behaviour, your stated preference, the girls' wishes and Lucy having been a mum to them for however long would find it hard to justify giving the girls to their biological mothers supposing that they did even surface and try to claim them. 16 and 17 y.o. are probably safe anyway due to their age.
You make many good suggestions. A court would never give girls to mothers anyway. I may still investigate and as you say, 16 & 17yo will be okay. Will look into a new will. Thanks. My mum said that everything was worse with twins.
Was the same with my ex.0 -
