But its nice to have smaller ones to mould :D

The youngest is 4. I dont see 2 of them much because of a massive fall out between dad & his ex :(

I'm guessing nothing is stopping me making a new will the day after I get married. Assuming my wedding night doesn't kill me.

Having read some of your posts and the link Sami kindly posted, I can see this being more mess than I ever imagined.

I'm even thinking P.I or something to see what mother of youngest 5 is up too. The older two are 16 and 17 and headstrong and would be able to tell their mother where to get off. We bought some Magnum's today as well :o

Think we may have to look into a double buggy in the next day or two now it's all official - anyone have any positive reviews?

Also - my twins slept in seperate cribs when younger. We plan the same again as opposed to a double crib (if this is even possible?)

Mothercare seems a good place to start.

School tomorrow for the youngest five - best of luck to those who have young ones returning tomorrow. I hope you are all ready.

I liked the look of the out and about nipper 360 when my OH made me paranoid that squeak would be twins :rotfl: but I'm not sure how you'd feel about it for newborns. My twins had seperate cots. They have bunk beds now and more often than not you'll find them together nose to nose in one bed!

When the twins were born (now 6) I had a maclaren twin techno and it was ok but not very manouverable. I had an Urban Detour twin which apart from being huuge was fantastic to walk with. The nipper is narrower, you can get it on the mercedes citaro buses, which the urban detour didn't. Over the last three years I've had to catch between 4 and 8 buses every school day, I know more about the bus drivers on our route than I do about some of my family and I'm a bit of a bus anorak :rotfl:

ETA: I came up with lots of names for Squeak but OH's choice was the only one that 'fitted' with the other names.

If I'd had the twins first they'd have more interesting names.

Also I know I was 17 and 19 at the time but I found my twin pregnancy to be the easiest!

This time I really suffered with pelvic pain and tiredness, not to mention being told I have MS in the last week
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

You can make the will beforehand as long as it's made clear that you intend it to be valid after you get married (which your current will obviously won't).

In your shoes, I'd probably put together some information detailing why you want someone else (i.e. Lucy and not the biological mothers) to have guardianship if you die. I imagine that a court looking at evidence of the biological mothers' behaviour, your stated preference, the girls' wishes and Lucy having been a mum to them for however long would find it hard to justify giving the girls to their biological mothers supposing that they did even surface and try to claim them. 16 and 17 y.o. are probably safe anyway due to their age.

If she stops doing everything she is going to find it a long 9 months. And a twin pregnancy is not that much different from a singleton pregnancy.
My mum said that everything was worse with twins.

That's a shame about not seeing two of them. It's the kids that suffer :(

I once knew a Quentin. Very short chap, but a decent bloke.

It's okay, I'm allowed to say....first choices for Lucy are Yolanda and Owain. I wanted Bubbles and Squeak, but it was met with a slapped knee.:D

I shall look out for those when we search online, thank you. On phone so not as easy.

I think we'll go singles again. Seems logical as we done it before.

    :rotfl: at bus anorak.

Anyone heard from the galavanting mfd?

We're still debating boys names. A girls name will be straight forward so we haven't looked at them yet. OH is worried that names such as Reuben, Levi and Malachi are too unusual.
