The girl who is the same age as Keira who lives opposite my mum is called Carly, they moved in the week after I moved out. Shes a bonnie wee kid but cripes, she has a right scream on her. Hear her a mile off

DD1 Has a friend who is lovely but is a right madam, you can hardly stay cross with her, even when she's driving you round the bend!
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

Had the job interview earlier. I had to fill in a questionaire thing with all those terrible typical job Q's - Why do you want to work for us. What are your strong points. What are your weak points etc etc

I had to apologise for my handwriting, I don't think I've written anything for 5 years :rotfl: everything is done on computer nowadays.

Anyhow she is needing 5 people, interviewing 20, not sure if they will take me on as I have no experience but I said I was a quick learner yadda yadda. I hope they put me behind the bar, don't think I'd be the smiley happy demenour I was earlier if I had people b1tching about their food at me :rotfl: michellin star chefs, oooooooerrrrr.

hours are 6pm-12pm so I can do it, but they dont even give you a taxi home, no buses at that time so a nice 3mile jaunt home :rotfl:

We're still debating boys names. A girls name will be straight forward so we haven't looked at them yet. OH is worried that names such as Reuben, Levi and Malachi are too unusual.

I like all of those names and don't think any are particularly unusual. Your OH may be interested to know that in RL I know 3 Reuben's of H's age and a Malachi.

We decided on Henry before I was even pregnant, and I only waivered on the labour ward when my consultant was called Charlie, which was my second choice boy's name and I thought it was a sign! Charlie !!!!!!ed off shift before I had Henry though so I decided it wasn't a very significant sign :rotfl:, although Charlie is first choice boy's name next time.

Good luck with it. Not sure even I'd like a trip home at that time of the night.

I guess no-one liked our names then :rotfl: Oh well, Lucy does.

Best get the girls sorted for bed ready for school tomorrow.

May pop back later if Lucy falls asleep.

Enjoy the rest of your evenings.

No I don't really fancy it either Motm, as it's through the town center and then through my dodgy area before I get to mine :rotfl: But needs must, I need a job so Idris can leave, though he will probably end up having to stay over the days Im working as it's so late? Oh god knows!!

    I liked the names :)

Oh dear. Can you not get a taxi, although that would negate the earnings I suppose.

Horrible situation as he would have to babysit.

Thanks, I feel better now :p

He's more coming round to the idea when we call it 'finger foods'
He just is worried because i gave her a stick of cheese and she bit a bit of it off and it went into her mouth.
So its grated cheese only now :o

:rotfl:What does he think she is meant to do with it.

Bruno - I'm sure he will settle down, but I second the idea of putting a duvet down next to the bed. We did that to start with. Mind you, we started off putting her on a matress on the floor, so she didn't even wake up when she fell out normally. Then when we moved the matress onto the bed she was already used to it. She has only fallen out a handful of times, other than when we were on holiday and the bed was a different size, then she fell out at least once a night.

3, that is great news :) Well, would have been nice to get an apology, but at least you can go on holiday somewhere else now :)

And Caz  at your sisters "friend".

Can someone remind me about Tigs on the tv nearer to the time - I'm bound to forget!

  • Thanks MOTM we did have a nice break although T didn't sleep very well, don't think he was very well for a couple of days so I had him in bed with me each night once he woke up the first time. I quite liked having him there and waking up to his smile each morning :-)
