Sami, I usually use the whole egg. Since its the white that is supposedly for binding and the yolk for taste. Like you, why waste it?
My belly hurts due to too many chips.
And, I was watching the Victorian pharmacy who said it was Victorian pharmacists who started the whole baby food idea as a way to boost sales of gelatine and stuff that was sold as 'invalid and infant food'. Given they also used to put opiates in cough syrup for babies and had an infant mortality rate of 25% before 5 years old.... yeah. You get the idea.
I hope MFD is not doping up Benjamin with cough syrup! lol!0 -
EA - tell F that BLW has been around for like forever - does his think neolithic man steamed and pureed
:rotfl:
He said to me "Do you think if you put a baby in the wild it would find its own food?"
To which i said "Yes it would!"
Im sure he thought that wild babies steam and puree berries :rotfl:Why not EA? Bulgaria's not so bad, although if you're worried you could say that to comply with Paypal rules you'd need to send by Fedex - the shipping cost will put them off
Dont know, i've only ever sold to the UK. And also, with P&P costs the item will cost way more than its worth!0 -
Sami, I've never put an egg in my burgers and I've never had a problem with them breaking up
Took the girls shoe shopping today, that was a flipping trauma and a half!!! Aimee managed to wake Caitlyn up before it was our turn and by the time it was our turn she was screaming and wailing to be let out of the pushchair... Then the shoes Aimee loved didn't fit her properly and they didn't have the wider width fitting in so we had tears and tantrums over which shoes to choose with me threatening her with none if she carried on... She chose the plainest pair ever that's grieved me to spend £32 on! (but she likes them because they have a heel...) I also discovered from the website this afternoon, if she'd gone for the patent ones she (and I) liked originally (before her older cousin made a big deal out of them) they had dolls in the heels so she'd have been over the moon... Still... Lucked out there...
Oh, and there were no sale shoes in Caitlyn's size... I was totally sucked in by shiny red shoes... They charged me £2 less than the website says though...
Ooh, they have the name we're thinking about for a girl... I wonder if it's a sign lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

.
Aimees shoes look very like the shoes L chose - she couldn't have patent either because only babies have patent!
I was also almost sucked in by those very red shoes for V too, but we got practical trainers instead.I do like their name though.

OMG, I feel like like such a horrible mum
I was giving Sophie a bath, and then went to pass her to OH for towelling duties, and she slipped and bumped her head
She cried for a bit, then had a feed, and is now snuggled into my shoulder.
She seems ok, but is there anything we should look out for? It happened about an hour ago.

I'm sure she's fine Bexta, it's probably the first of many head bumps

Dont feel mean, it happens and its not your fault.
I let Lily lay on her front in the bath so she can 'swim' I do hold her but once she sneezed and her head went under water and she choked
I also was carrying her on my hip the other day and she leant back and her head hit the wall:rotfl:
I also have dropped my siblings when they were babies many times. Poor brother got dropped on concrete, other brother i fell down the stairs with and my sister i dropped and she hit my Stepdads shoe on the way down. (but to be fair someone gave me a wedgie and thats why she was dropped)
Im not purposly mean, im very clumsy!0 -
Krystal, no doubt you're right. I had semi permenant 'eggs' for years, but it does make you feel like total poo though.

Lol EA, Aimee was forever doing that, especially on one corner by the front door... She's alright though... Bar no taste in shoes lol...
Bex, once she starts getting around you've had it...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
