Even if i made the mistake. Questions need to be asked as supermarkets will roll out more of these checkouts in the future.

They're going to need to take a look at the tens of thousands of self-service teller machines first really.

Should the OP be allowed out on their own?

Jeez, don't leave them around anything sharp or else who knows what will happen

I'm going to walk in and complain I left £200 worth of shopping in the car park.
They should have been there to make sure I packed it in the boot instead of driving off leaving it all in the trolley.

I do hope the OP is still reading, there should be some kind of Wooden Spoon award for the stupidest person of the week.

    I've not read the replies.

I once asked for cashback in Tescos, only £10.00, I then proceeded to M&S to buy other bits and bobs. When I went to pay I realised the cashback hadn't been handed over in Tesco. When I went back to the same checkout girl and explained she handed it over without even questioning me:eek: - took my word for it and gave me the money!

lol, that reminds me of a time when I was a young schoolkid skipping school in the city, I just had enough to buy a Greggs pie n a Mc Milkshake (my £1 lunchmoney). I was amazed when I went into Greggs n ordered my pie, only for the woman to hand me a pie AND change of a fiver, whilst I was still holding the 32p in coppers I had in my hand to pay for the pie. She even thanked me for my custom, it made the rest of a miserable day, quite fruitful ;)

Wouldn't that be a month's worth of shopping for most families?

There's the Darwin Awards, but that's usually awarded to someone who was/did something so stupid that they got themselves killed, removing their stupidity from the gene pool.
