Help lost stars and posts

Could someone tell me what has happened to my 4 stars and all my posts .

Seems I had someones signature as well

Any help appreciated

    Hi,

    A lot of posts were archived when the old site was being updated but the post count never went down ...............when we moved to this the new site the post count was redone and therefore most people lost lots ..................the stars were switched off for a while and now the requirements/levels for stars have been altered so everyone has got less stars than they had before too.



    Hope that helps ............most of the problems were simply down to the move to the new site with new software:)

    Does anyone know if this can be sorted I sort of don't want to start all over !

    On 1 December we removed any threads that hadn't been posted on in the previous 160 days. A lot of your old ones will have been amongst those I'm afraid.

    Wouldn't it be a good idea for all new & old members, if the new requirement levels for stars was published and also mention the lost posts, maybe at the top of the Chat Forums Board ??

    The post requirement for a star was always (supposedly) a closed guarded secret so when you got a new star it was a surprise :)

    At the moment the maximum number of stars is four, even Martin only has four stars! :cool:

    Good to see you on here MF, i was thinking about you today actually...

    I was trying to remove a picture from the wall I had stuck on using white tack, it has left a slight mark, shock horror as i realised I had recommended the product to you, thought I should mention it & there you are - as if by magic.

    glad - WOW !! OVER 5000 POSTS IN JUST OVER 1 YEAR !! I make that an average of about 13 per day !! for 14 months. How on earth did you manage that ?? You deserve 5 !!

    Your right but there are so many changes the top of the chat forums would never end:)

    I meant just a small notice to members advising them that posts have been deleted.

    PS. I was astounded by glad's post count in 13 months, but yours is even more astonishing. 12345 posts since March 2004!! That cannot be correct surely ?
