well im absolutely shattered! did about 30 deliveries last night.. took me 4 hours and then had to come home and finish sorting my deliveries for tonight... another 30+!

Had some horrible customers again last night... really starting to hate them! There is just no excuse for plain rudeness and speaking to me like im something theyve stood in!

Been lying in bed with my business brain whizzing about last few nights.. got some ideas about making my life easier and boosting sales too... just gotta find time to sit and sort it all!

Just thought I'd introduce myself because I think I'll be visiting this forum quite often!

I signed up for Avon a few months ago and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. Just submitted my second order and although it's only about £240 it's given me a big boost in trying to get more next time! I say only £240, but to put it into perspective I only managed to do less than half my territory so fingers crossed next time will be a nice surprise!

I have a few questions regarding the money I receive from Avon. Do I need to declare it to the taxman? And if so, how do I go about doing this?

Hi ladies,

I haven't been on for a while as I've been away on holiday however, I'm back now and need to get my bottom into gear with my Avon!!

A have a returns question, a customer purchased the solutions eye cream last campaign (which my dad delivered for me bless him) but having used it for a few weeks now she hasn't noticed any results and has asked me to suggest a stronger alternative. Ok, so that's all enough as I've given her a sample of the 'Anew' eye gel / cream that I think is £11 in c12 and suggested she tried this one instead.

Sorry I digress!! So can I send the solutions eye cream back and get a refund for this lady or not?? As I've not had to send a 'used' product back before I'm not sure what the rules are, can you help please??

I have been and delivered the rest of my order today and a customer said that she had forgot to order the glimmerstick for the promotion. Do you think avon will let me order one at that price for her to come with the next delivery?

Question.
Ideal Shade (pot of foundation) in shell.
Customer (v fussy - ) has produced her empty pot of above and wants more. No longer in catalogues (presume discountinued). Is this the same as ideal shade cream to powder foundation?

Question 2.
Ideal shade smooth minerals foundation
I get confused as this looks like a powder. Why is this called foundation as opposed to powder?

Yes you can return tried items, that's part of the return guarantee, especially for make up. If they don't want to pay the anew prices, they could always try the ageless solution eye cream as that will be stronger. I use the radiance one, but have to admit it just keeps the area moisturised but for the age range it's for that's suitable.

Thanks lozza for your help.... she is a 'mature' lady so I think she is looking for something fairly strong hence the reason I suggested Anew. I just wasn't sure if I could send the solutions one back, thanks for helping me out on that one.

Hi all, I'm tempted to plan to do a few Avon parties in the run up to Christmas. I have hosted parties before but never performed in front of an audience. I'd be grateful for any tips re stock ordering and incentives.

I am sure some of the more experienced Avon party planners will be along to give you advice, but check out t he first few posts on the first page, as there are some links to Avon Parties already held and advice on them.
