Met a UK rep today, who has a lot of friends in France. Made me wonder how the prices compare i.e. would it be worth her offering to post Avon goodies out to her friends or are they available locally at the same book price? For example, SSS Dry Oil Body Spray (code 6700) - full price £5 here in the UK but more often than not on offer from £2-£2.50 How much is that in France?
Thanks Marsden. I find that the prices in France are more expensive than the UK. Occasionally there are good offers on perfume sets or creams but generally everything is more expensive. This is normal in France though as things are getting more expensive here as compared to the UK. The Dry oil Body spray full price is 9.50E but on offer can be 5E. Not sure how much it would cost to post to France though. However the pedicure accessory set over here is full price 5.50E but in England it is £6.00 full price according to the UK website.
With my customers I tend to know what they like to buy and then highlight when there is a special offer on and so get sales that way.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

i.e. the landscape printed one (Say Hello to a new Tomorrow). If it's not there, post up or PM me with your postcode and I'll check it for you,.
If you are J it means you're only one week behind D so guess will make a bit of difference but, in turn, you're one week ahead of anyone in 'O' Mailplan so if you get lots of shortages, wonder how they get on? Anyone actually in 'O' Mailplan?

Don't want to give the impression I have loads of stuff missing.
Flipflops 2 pairs, towel set & signature gift set - that's 4 customers to disappoint though.
Thanks MarsdenCuckoo for your help."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
OH! AAAVVOONN
I recently had a customer return the Cream Cleanser (in the gold tube) from the C11 Anew Ultimate treats. Having opened the tube, neither she nor I could close it again.
The replacement arrived this morning, so I opened it, and guess what?.....yep! you're there before me.........it wouldn't close
I rang the PC helpline and the girl went away 'to check the system'; came back and said that apparently you have to press the centre of the tube to snap it closed :T She said that they have changed some of the other tubes (suncream for one) to the same system to make it 'travel friendly' - good of them to tell us :A:p'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Heya all,
I am a new avon rep :j exciting times!
I have read a few people have bought stamps to place their info on order forms. I have been printing mine and think using a stamper would be cheaper.
I have visited vistaprint and it says they're free - how much are they really?
Thanks0 -
Hi Dindong - welcome to the madhouse
Lots of info on here (check out the first couple of pages for FAQ's and useful tips.
My rubber stamp came from Office World or somewhere similar and was about £11. Having said that, it is a reasonable size and is still going strong after 2 1/2 years. I did get the 'freebie' from Vistaprint but it is a little small - I think the post & packing was about £3 - £4. V'Print are really good for business cards though.'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Hi Amanda,
Me too... want to put my order in and allocate some territory, site is online but Avons own firewall is blocking it according to my computer's diagnostics!! Will let my reps know if it doesnt resolve soon but wont panic them initially!

MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »Have not come across that comment by Avon before; usually it's 'temporarily out of stock, no need to re-order' or 'sold out, please do not re-order'. Hmm... am wondering if they're now not sure how many flipflops they'll get returned for delivery being too late so they're drawing a line under it and starting again....? No consolation to us reps though being told just to re-order when next back in the catalogue - unless they intend to reduce them in price again?
Always a good idea to just keep your customer informed. I've had a customer waiting for these since C9 (actually she ordered them @ £18 and I suggested sending them back and re-ordering at £10... Doh!!) No ideas if she'll still want them over 2 months late but time will tell. Suppose on the bright side she'll now have a nice new pair at almost half price for the start of the 'holiday'(rainy) season :rotfl:
I know I thought it was a strange thing to say on the invoice. I went to see the customer yesterday and explained the situation. As they are flip flops she doesn't want to wait until September, but she was really nice about it.:)M May11 55886.810
