  • Evening all

I have just started as a rep and received my first delivery of items today (all present) my problem is I do not have any brochures, my ASM said that they would get in touch with me towards the end of the week about dropping off my brochures for the next campaign but I havent heard from them, I have left several voice messages and emailed but with no luck. My problem is I work full time and if I dont get them tomorrow then I wont get a chance to deliver them until next weekend which will only leave me a week to get orders from two villages. Does anyone know if there is some other way to get the brochures (quickly), if I had known that there might be a problem I would have ordered them :(.

Jenny, they are my Avon Sales. I only wish it was my earnings.

I earn 25%. I am also a Sales Leader and earn commission from the productivity and success of my team.
    Hope that helps.

  • Thanks to whoever pointed out the problem with the colours on the blusher-this solved it. Ive now phoned customer and explained. The one I mucked up with the body wash and rollons I saw again today and gave her c11 brochure and the c12 brocher to look through and that way she can get the best offers from both. She seemed impressed!
Yes-it does help create good customer relationships as you show interest in the customer-not just making money. I find this easy I suppose as Ive been in retail many many years. Only made about £20 this time for myself after all expenses and half of my setup fee but next camp will be better as less outgoings and the one after that should be good. Just hope I do as well on camp 12 as I did on 11. Got drowned today so got to a point where I had to give up on putting the books and I will just have to go back tomorrow.
Going to set one of my trip meters to zero for my avon round I think-it will be interesting!
Going to try to set 2 days a week for putting out brochures and stick to them-try to make some sort of routine otherwise it will take up more time than necessary. Still got one road to do of my territory I didnt cover last time-Ive kept my c11 books for that one-also for work-in case the books get binned! Even my son picked up books while I drove last week-he is 21 but didnt mind as Im always giving him lifts. I did tell him he could be an Avon man but he said no thanks!

Thanks for the info, DB; you a rep or a customer? I've had customers waiting for the white flipflops for nearly two months now.
Im a rep :) I emailed them again to double check and they sent one back saying they would be sent when in stock. Which was totally different to the first email. So now not sure what is happening with them.

An update on the stock situation...

I phoned Avon this morning (my C12 order is due to be submitted next Thursday) and was told that the outstanding Sequined Flip Flops (both sizes) and the Pedometer should be delivered with my C12 order.

Also, there is apparently no problem now with the Bench Watch.

    Watch this space :p

Oh, yes....MC - I'd happily take you up on your bet that you 'could give me & Aureol a few years' but I wouldn't want to take your money that easily :D I'm probably the 'senior member' of this board (in age terms only!!) :rotfl:

loolaray - we tend to find for some reasons, Avon is quicker to show additional orders invoices than main orders, maybe because they are usually for smaller amounts, ie only a few items. Don't worry your main order will show up.

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some info regarding the Fergie Moneymaker and I cant find my Hello Tomorrow (recently had a clear out!) and cant remember what the offer was. My dilema is that I ordered 6 of the perfume and only sold one, I have now sold another and I was sure that if I sold three then I got the perfume at a more reduced price. Is it worth sending back the 4 left or could I get one really cheap?

Hope that makes some sense! :-)

Oh and another quickie, what happens if I fail to send back the 'free' items that came with those? WIll I get into trouble?

    Sugar xxx

    TIA!

Thanks for the info, EB, my C12 order is due to be delivered next Thursday so time will tell. For the first time ever I haven't put my order in yet; still waiting for a late newbie to be loaded to make sure I capture all the orders on the offchance she's not approved but, guess I need to get it done and just put an extra order in if needs be (most of it is for her anyway).

Had no idea you were a lady of 'a certain age'; mentally am only 36 but that was quite a while ago! :rotfl:

Fergie Moneymaker: Order 3 or more @ £9 each for the set of the EdP, tester vial, Body Spray and Body Lotion. Looks to me like unless you keep three you'll be charged £9.80 for the two sets you've sold although.... strangely enough it says that offer is limited to only one per rep so you may even end up being charged at the customer price of £14 less your commission for one.

As for the free gifts, the MM T&C's do quote they need to be returned along with the product but has anyone ever been picked up for NOT sending back the free product(s) and/or is it even possible for Avon to ascertain that it needs to be done?
