Congrats on the big order! Hard to say - do you have anything in stock yet? I'd say maybe give her a body spray or a planet spa pampering hand cream....something nice that she'll use and hopefully go on to buy in the future!

  • This is our second order, we didn't do any territory last time, but I did order some bits from the clearance section and I have Planet Spa Foot and elbow cream which was in one of the packs I bought last time. Would that be ok do you think?

  • I've just had a thought, my FB page isn't really going to help me as I have my privacy settings set to "friends only" due to having received abusive emails ........but I suppose it can be an information point for my existing customers

you will have to pay for the items you have for yourself unless you return them afterwards.

At which point you'll lose the commission, which rather defeats the purpose.

No - not if they're returned afterwards, you'll still receive your discount on the remaining items. Otherwise, if a customer happened to dislike an item, and return it, you again would loose your commission on all items ordered which would be unfair.

Yep I agree! My customers love the foot and elbow cream and are always looking for it on offer! And if she gets hooked, she may buy more in the range, or the moisturising gloves or socks.

    WELL Done to Hubby!

set up a FB page without your personal details on. just your avon ones, I have and I have a FB profile that is avon representative, so it links to my business page. It is fiddly running it like this but so much better if you want to remain anonymous to nasty people who send you abusive emails.

Yes, you're quite right there. But if you order things just to make MOV with the intention of returning them then you're immediately going to be reducing the size of that next order and possibly not hitting MOV because of that, and so on...

It doesn't matter - returns are counted separately to the order you put in next time. You could return £60 of stuff, put an order in £200 and you'll still get 25% discount as returns don't affect your earning level unless you are sales leader.
