For business cards - if you register with them, you'll get a daily email with offers...I usually wait until they are doing the premium business cards free as they don't have vistaprint written on them anywhere and you have a better choice of designs. If you go to the health & beauty section (I think its called that, or something similar in any case) theres lots of good designs that you could use.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A
  • Well I'm hacked off tonight. From the first twenty books - I managed to get 12 back and no orders. Also two rather rude people - I bet you they post on the Betterware thread!! One mentioned that Avon have a bad animal testing record and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. I was aware that this was the case some twenty or so years ago, but thought all cosmetics companies had gotten past this.. hmmm.

I think the road I have is pants. They are very sniffy along there. I'm toying with another road but the ASM said I would have to canvass all of it for C16 which I have signed up to. There are about 600 houses in the road, but I have a 'feeling' it is better than the one I have now.

Any thoughts? Should I stick and see what happens or move?

Heh, shows what they know - avon was one of the first companies to stop animal testing. http://responsibility.avoncompany.com/page-44-Animal-Testing

You could ask your asm again and see if they'll swap for you, if not carry on - sometimes you'll be surprised, I've got some parts of my territory with very few customers, yet just a few doors down I have lots of customers all close together.

  • Yeah it was apparently. Just search on 'dataen'. I got one and lots of others did.

Aww thanks Lozza - I'm relieved to see that as I adore animals. Oh she was bloody rude. I dunno, I just get a feeling about that road somehow. I'll persevere for now though. Why can't I have the other road as well I wonder? I couldn't canvass it all - but I would eventually - especially as I deliver my magazine down there every three months.

hi everyone, I know that someone on here mentioned that they use a spreadsheet to keep track of their accounts/customers but I can't remember who. After starting on pg1 and working my way down I have lost the will to live trying to find it. Can anyone help me ? I am hopeless at pc stuff so wouldn't have a clue where to start on setting up a spreadsheet ?

    post here

PM J_pink with your email address and request for her great spreadsheet, sure she will be happy to help. :)

You should call them now or go online, links on first post, and tell them you are doing Avon.

They will send you all the stuff you need and give you advice, but you won't need to submit a self assessment until next April.

I did this online a few weeks ago but have heard absolutely nothing to date. Do you think I should do it again or is this normal?

did you get an acknowledgement they had received your application? if so, they may just be backlogged.

not sure, might be worth chasing them to make sure they got your details. I know I had to chase mine last year.

Sorry, only just noticed this. That'll teach me to read the whole thread before I reply :)
