Yeah I think that would be a good gift :)

....and if you wrap it in cheap coloured tissue paper & seal it with a fancy sticker, it will look even more special ;) My customers used to LOVE their freebies - said it was lovely to have a surprise to unwrap (also tells them you didn't put it in there by mistake!)

  • Hi There Im new to this board but not new to Avon, I have been a rep on and off for the last 15 years!! I am currently not signed up to Avon as I had a few difficulties and my account was closed, I have just paid off my account and I am now waiting for my Area Manager to sign me back up, hopefully without a problem!!
I had also tried Sales Leadership before and did quite well, untill all my ladies started quiting. But Im keen to give that a go again, Im not signed up yet but Im already typing up news latter ect. I think Im actually more excited this time than I have ever beel lol.
My children are both at school now so I will have all day to work on my new venture, it got very difficult before trying to work part time be a mum and do avon........but im free now!!
Im in the Gloucester area and keen to go and listen to any ideas, tips etc.

  • I do have one question.........Does anyone have a link to a spreadsheet or something so I can keep track of earnings for the taxman?
I kind of made my own but I can't get it to do the maths for me lol.

Just had my signature removed - presumably for promoting my border collie X on Twitter :D

She's not about to sell her choc drops or pigs ears so not at all sure what she'd have to gain from the link :p

  • Just been to pick up my second drop of books and got two orders! :j That makes 3 from my territory so far. OK, not a lot but you have to start somewhere and it least it gives you encouragement to carry on!

One of the orders came from a house with "no junk mail" on the letterbox. I wasn't sure whether to deliver there or not, but it just goes to show I guess!
  • Well done Chardonnay. Its exciting when you get orders. My husband has just started his territory and has got four orders so far, but has the last lot of books to pick up tonight. He has lost a few books but not too many people have said definitely no more books. Keep going and hopefully next time you will get loads more orders. I am hoping that more people will order in the run up to Christmas!

I was reading Avon Connects the other day, and people on there were discussing having a raffle for Christmas. I was thinking about doing the same thing for my husbands round and giving out a raffle ticket for every £10 spent between campaigns 16 and 18. What does everyone else think?

  • Thanks Rachelet :)

Off out again in a minute to deliver my last lot of books for my first campaign! It is exciting when you open the bag and find that someone has actually filled the order form in! It gives you encouragement to carry on.

Sounds like your hubby's doing well! Hope he gets some more orders from this drop!
  • Is anyone else having issues logging into Avon Connects? I click log in it takes me to a screen where you can log in as either a rep or customer. I enter my account number and password (all correct) press the button and the page simply refreshes clearing my inputted log in info. I re-enter my details and then it takes me to the avon rep site rather than connects. I go to connects website and I am not logged in. Grr.
  • Well done Chardonnay, it is really rewarding when you pick up your first orders and when you get your first delivery!
    :D

I'd put books through all doors unless they say no thank you because eventually someone that has said no previously will one day surprise you by saying yes ;)
  • Im glad the forum back up an working. i was posting last night when it crashed,(it wasn't my fault). i went n collect my books for the 1st time from my territory last night an had two orders an everyone that answered the door was really nice. i did have my 8week old baby with me so think that helped, she now my secret weapon. I put them back out an just got to go back tonight an try again on a few doors. Had one house that was in just ignored me. Unfortunately my printer is broken or i would put notes through doors.
