Just picked up 7 more books...still no orders! There was a lovely note on one of the books saying 'Chardonnay, (obviously that's not my real name lol), Sorry dear, gents only household, and an old one at that. "Have a nice day & Keep Smiling".'

Just put out 16 more books and will send out the 7 I picked up on my way out later. There was a sheltered housing place and I asked the receptionist and she said there was no point putting books out as they never buy anything there. I also posted a book to a nursery, as thought it worth a try. What do you all do about business like that (as opposed to houses)?

I will make MOV, but only due to F&F orders and 'cos I'm going to order something myself, for my daughter's birthday.

Really enjoying it though. It'd be perfect if I could just make any money out of it

Signed up last night. Got a call today from the ASM asking to meet as she was in the area. She went through everything and gave me 40 brochures for C16. She couldn't give me my territory as her internet dongle was playing up. But said she would phone me later when she had it. Also got 2 samples of the Fergie perfume.

I am not yet an AVON Representative but after reading this thread it made my mind up for me. Last Friday i went on the AVON website and appleid to become a representative as of ye i have not heard anything from anyone on where i go from here. Could someone please let me know how long it usually takes for someone to contact regards this.

Has anyone had any joy from their Facebook page / group?

I've had a few people join who are not friends or family and although I've put the link on a few local pages, I've only picked up 2 people so far that I don't know. I do add deals and information but want to use it more if I can.

How is everyone else getting on and is it ok to add the ladies who've mentioned their FB page to my group??

Hi, I will add you. I am Avon Bromsgrove Area. I've been wondering the same myself. I have invited local friends, but some haven't accepted, which is fair enough. Where do you advertise?

Well, I finally have an order from my territory! Yay! :j It was emailed to me though, with no address, so I emailed back to ask for the address. Should I ask her to leave her book outside so I can go and get it, or should I just fill in an order form for her? Is it OK to fill in order forms for other people? I've filled in two for F&F so obviously they don't have their signatures on them. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Thanks for being my FB friend, I will add you too

All I did was type Lichfield into the search on FB and then joined all the groups in the Lichfield area. I was then able to add a link or write on the wall to promote Avon on there. I'm also going to add my FB group and email address onto the order forms in the hope some may join it from that.

Likewise I've invited friends and family, some have joined others haven't but I know FB has worked for my SL so I'm going to persevere for a while longer.

Chardonnay, ask your customer for your book back, just ask her to leave it outside and yes fill in an order form for her, that's what I do for some.

That's a great idea! I will go and do the same for Bromsgrove. I've been thinking the same about putting my facebook on the order forms. I agree that FB could be a great way to get some new customers!
