Typical! One of the ladies on my territory who hasn't ordered for ages rang this morning to see if I can get hold of an eyeshadow quad in textured teal. I put my order in last night and it's in the HT clearance!! Dont know whether to do an additional order (obviously charging her the £2.50) or to order one of ebay for about the same price. Decisions decisions! On the plus she's asked for the next brochure!

if it's in the HT Clearance for the previous campaign, you won't be able to order it, as I found out this morning :(

I put in an additional order for C14 for that mug that my customers insists she wants, although have since found out it will be in c16, and put in 4 clearance items, but as the additional order was submitted on the eve of C15 day, and it was processed on C15 day, they will not allow me the clearance items as they are from the previous campaign.

Hi all, Im a new rep in my area and I dont know how to get started. Any ideas ? Thanks :)

Hi and welcome to the thread. Read the first page, it has helpful hints and ideas and some information that you need to know.
  • I am thinking of using Facebook to try and get some orders. I was thinking of setting up a group, inviting all those that it would be feasible to deliver orders to, and then putting a link to the e-brochure and updating it everytime a new book comes out.

Do you think that's a good idea?

Quite a few of us have Facebook pages and use it for existing customers and to attract new customers.

Lozza has managed to get new customers from hers.
  • Thanks. I'll give it a go then!

Thanks - do you know who I would email at Avon? I feel so awful about this, I want to give her something to compensate but I do feel 'why should it come out of my pocket', I was going to give her some freebies anyway as she has spent a lot but don't feel these will be enough to compensate.

Go through the website, contact us, and put reason as other.

Explain clearly how distraught your customer is and they may send something for her as goodwill.
  • Hello,
I've got a customer who wants to return a necklace. Not done a return before and I haven't yet paid the invoice.
Do I have to pay the full invoice price? How does Avon then return the item amount?
Would someone please be kind enough to talk me through the returns procedure or point me to a relevant thread. Have had a look through but couldn't see anything exact.

    Thanks so much.

  • Finally set up the Facebook account! I'm Avon Bromsgrove Area if anyone would like to add me as a friend?
