yeah i would like to do it. Was just a bit annoying I was given four days ten books and expected to get over £78!
Would have like to known a bit more about it before she expected me to canvass. how long do you leave your brocures with customers?
Why am I suspicious that this is another ASM who wants the order put through her account? Surely 4 days is nowhere near long enough to set up one for a new rep.
Beccaa, you need to wait until you are signed up then she should leave you more brochures as mentioned earlier. You will order directly from avon and take delivery yourself. She should also allocate you some territory so you can use these books over again to canvass until that campaign order is due in (should be 3 weeks after the previous one). This should all be explained to you. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

how long do people leave the brochures with customers?x
At first I wanted to get my area canvassed as quickly as possible, so I'd leave books with people for anything from 3 to 5 days, get them back, then get them straight out again (sometimes coming home, re-doing the books, and going back out the same day). I'd try to leave things with people over a weekend if possible, but it didn't always happen.
Now my area's canvassed, I can be more organised about it. I'm going to drop on Wednesdays and collect on Sunday afternoons. Monday evening will be for collecting the stragglers. By always dropping and (more importantly) collecting on the same day every time I hope to get customers trained at leaving them out. I'm sticking to Sundays and Monday evening for collections so I can knock and catch people in if the brochure isn't outside.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I know a few posts back I was saying how I thought C16 had good deals in it compared to C15... a closer look showed me I'd been had by the "2 for £10" and "4 for £4" in big letters
The reason I was comparing the two was to do a free gift offer. I was looking for all items under £1.50 in each brochure and made a list. I found at least 13 in C15 (that's not including the different fragrances etc. and one page had everything 99p but I just wrote down 1 page number for that - so there were lots). There were only 8 in C16. There are things like the shampoos (4 for £4), but that makes you spend more. There were lots more opportunities to buy individual items cheap in C15 than in c16, where you had to do a multibuy and spend more.
Overall there were still lots of good offers in C16, but as a cheapskate looking to do a free gift and not lose money I preferred C15 in the end.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. Morning (sunny and bright in Norwich today)
I was wondering if anyone has an electronic copy of the sales brochure for campaign 14, I didnt receive a copy of the brochures with my camp 14 books but my mum who lives in Kent did (from her rep) and she has asked me about a product she saw in it and asked if I can back order it for her (prob is shes a bit vague on the product details).0 -
I used to put out brochures on a Monday & collect them on Thursday. I found early on that if I left them too long, then they would just get lost and/or forgotten about.
You know yourself that if you put something aside to do later because there is plenty of time, it will never get done, whereas if you are short of time you tend to do it there and then
There were a few good customers that I just gave a book to keep (they then ordered by text/phone/email, so it saved me a lot of hassle).'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

So sorry to hear that joosh. None of my customers have bought it, and haven't heard of anyone else.
It might have been a bad batch sample. Notify Avon by email that this customer had a bad reaction, burnt her face and had to go to the Drs. Tell them what sample it was, and if you have any more samples, the code from it, so they can check if it was a bad batch. Maybe they will send something as goodwill for the customer.
Thanks - do you know who I would email at Avon? I feel so awful about this, I want to give her something to compensate but I do feel 'why should it come out of my pocket', I was going to give her some freebies anyway as she has spent a lot but don't feel these will be enough to compensate.I'm an AVON lady :j
