    C14 - I'm having MARE!

I'm having problems too Furby, only sold about £80 so far, order due in on Thursday, it has honestly been my worst ever and I have no idea why....

Mine was my first so it's hard to compare it to later, "normal", campaigns. I remember thinking the C15 brochure felt more appealing/better laid out, and that the C16 one has better offers in it. 2 people took advantage of the Hello Kitty offer. I'm not so keen on that type of offer as a customer because it's not flexible (like an "any 2 for £10" kind) and you still have to spend more money to get the offer item.

Then you had the time of year - no money left after holidays, need to buy back to school things, just no time to look at it.

Here's to people panicking about buying Christmas presents :D !
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • Oh and what do you all think of the herve leger perfume? I think it's lovely and I'm a Chanel girl usually.

I liked it in the brochure and kept a sample for myself. It's a bit different from the brochure, but I still like it - wasn't too sure though when I kept getting wafts of it at first! I don't like really girly fragrances but I found it was a bit more musky (is that the right word?), and masculine out of the bottle.

Gave out a few samples because people said they wanted fragrances - no sales yet!

  • I absolutely love herve leger!!! Not had one sale for it though yet!! People even gave back the samples! Think they must have felt guilty taking it and not placing an order!!
  • I am HOPING to have sold some more bottles of Herve when I pick up the rest of my customer orders tonight. Sold one bottle last week - the lady just opened the door and asked what perfume I was wearing as it was lovely! Took a bottle round with me as well when I delivered my orders, and that seemed quite a good idea as quite a few of my customers are considering getting a bottle.

Only thing is, I kept telling everybody it was £18 a bottle, when of course it is £20. Think I'll still honour the £18 though, as I'll still make a bit of commission.
  • Hello everyone - I have decided to enter everyone who orders from C15 into a raffle as my incentive this time. I have put on my newsletter that all orders gain entry to the raffle, but then should I give them a raffle ticket? Would you post one through the door when collecting the books? I was just curious to see how others ran raffles. I thought I would offer a bottle of wine, a box of chocs and then some Avon goodies as prizes, and on my newsletter for C16 put a list of winners so people can see it was a genuine raffle. What do you all think? xxxx
  • I've often wondered about raffles as well. I thought along the lines of one ticket per £5 or £10 spend so those that spend a fiver get one tenth of the chance of those who spend £50. But not sure how you can make the draw so folks can see its not fixed.

Yes it is quite a striking fragrance. After the ASM let me have a spray of hers, I went to the shops and two people asked me what it was.

I'm looking forward to getting started now. I have ordered some bags from that stationery site mentioned earlier in the thread.

Are there any Sales Leaders here?
  • :rotfl:Woohoo!!! First order complete and submitted!! How excited can one girl be!

Spoke with ASM today and have also got some new territory for next campaign - roll on C16!

There's quite a few Sales Leaders on here. Lozza1985, LucyClare, MarsdenCuckoo, to name a few. Me, I am an ex SL.

No one asked me when I was wearing it and I was talking to a lady at work about it. There is already an Avon rep there, and I was telling the lad I was offering the whole set for £15, and in the book it was £20. She said she still thought it was quite expensive.

might take a sample of the set to work to show her.
