Anyway, I haven't had any training on the system yet from my ASM and when I went on to Connect yesterday to register myself it kept coming up saying that the date of birth I put in doesn't match Avon's records. Much as I would love to be a different age (younger preferrably!!) I am not and the DOB I'm inputting is correct. What can I do? I can only assume that my ASM has given Avon the wrong DOB when she first registered my account, but I can't get hold of her (to be fair she had explained that she had a family funeral to attend and it may be hard toget hold of her) and I am panicking that it won't be sorted out in time for me to place my order. Gulp!!
You probably havent been logged onto the system yet, that happened to me too.. i would phone your ASM x0 -
Lullypops - thanks I have left amessge for me but am starting to get really twitchy!!!!!!0

It means what it says - your email address has to be unique. Presumably yours has already been registered with avon connects.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Hi,
I have been catching up on all the posts about Avon Connects as I have been away on holiday. My Mum kindly offered to pop round and do the rounds of picking up and dropping off the books when I was away. Unfortunately she didn't change the order forms over so my customers won't have the right day to leave the book out on, on the order form. I am hoping as I deliver and pick up the same day each time they will guess lol. So far campaign 15 is looking pretty poor to the point that I am not sure if I will even make MOV!
I have just joined Avon connects although I keep getting the error "We are unable to determine your username." I can click past this though so hopefully it will work, my username is Chazolate if anyone wants to add me. I will read back and add people on this forum once I have figured out how to.M May11 55886.810 -
I think Avon's taken the same idealised approach to Avon Connects and not stopped to think that reps will want to vent amongst themselves, discuss how to make more money (and not just from selling more items).
It could be that Avon want to hear these things and will reform the business accordingly based upon them.
Your point about customers being party to Reps' discussions is a good one though.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Yes I think we need to watch what we post on connects, while they posted a list of what groups are visible to reps only - a sl has created a customer account to check this and they could still see posts about creative ordering etc! I've warned my reps to watch what they post. I've only posted on a few bits, and only what I wouldn't mind my customers seeing. I've started a blog, just copying my reviews from my facebook group lol, so it's items before they are released which gets round my customers wondering about what campaign they are on. I've certainly not advertising Avon connects to my customers though, but I doubt even if I did that they'd use it, I really don't think it's very user friendly, and and as customer, would you really be interested in reading the posts on there? I've certainly not found it that interesting and that's as a rep/sl! I think the only good thing, is thr group you become part of when you join (run by whoever signed you up) as in means I can post my documents on there for my reps to access. If they go on connects of course lol.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
