grrrr put in additional order for a new customer and a friend, happy to do that :), then awkward customer calls this morning and says she wants to order stuff from c13! I told her it is not in any of the future brochures, won't be around at Xmas when she wants to order it and apart from that, she told me she didn't want another book until November!

I've found the same to be true as Kynnie and have managed to avoid dropping at houses that don't want it because they've ticked the box. I put the slip facing out through the plastic so they can see it without opening the bag. I also highlight "if you do not wish to receive this brochure again" and the collection day so people can see straight away that the option is there and hopefully they'll still leave the book out.

Plenty of people haven't ticked the box and haven't read it BUT they leave it out when requested (or after a reminder). The other people I know not to try again at are the ones who haven't left it out at all - re-canvassing in six months but that's it.

On my reminder slip I also highlight the "do not wish to receive" bit and people have ticked it before leaving the book out. I've accidentally made a bit of a clatter when putting these paper reminders through people's doors (and sometimes going "ahhhh!!!" when my fingers get caught) - this gets the attention of people inside and they either chase you down the street (only in a nice way so far) or they leave it out straight away and you pick it up on your way back.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

You could argue that those with Avon debt would appreciate customer leads too ;)

I agree, and think most of the criteria are fair and protect either Avon or the customers from dodgy reps.

Being registered in eSuite (ordering online) excludes good reps who don't have/can't afford/don't like the idea of ordering online.

Placing 2 orders in last 3 campaigns - good idea, means the rep is working consistently. Probably just took a break for holiday/baby etc.

Length of Association (thanks for the explanation back there :) ) - maybe a bit unfair on new reps but I'm guessing there's a high dropout rate during the first 5 campaigns so you just have to stick with it through them until you've proven yourself. Plus, getting customer leads coming in could get confusing when you're still canvassing your territory. I'm on my 2nd campaign right now and would want to wait a while anyway before expanding.

Have accessed Avon Connects within the last 7 days - could be problem with people going on holiday for more than a week.

All that we newbies and those earning under £500 per 3 camps can do is re-canvas, target newly-sold houses, and hope neighbours speak to each other and pass your details on so new customers come to you instead of going elsewhere. It'll be interesting to see how Avon Connects develops and whether we see improvements in sales because of it (customer leads or not).

I could back order for you if you are too far ahead? im only on c14?! BUT then you'd have to pay postage so you would probably be worse off :\

I thought about asking someone to back order for me, but you are right postage would probably be more than £2.50 additonal postage cost for me through Avon. I did make it very clear on the phone I wasn't happy with her, especially as she left 3 voicemails and finished all my credit that was left!

Then I thought order it, charge her the £2.50 and she better put in a big order in November! :p

emuk - avon dont give you an email address. :)

Auerol - id charge her £3!! Still cheaper than the postage online from the website - and your not making commmission so id take the extra 50p as an admin charge! :rotfl::rotfl: otherwise your putting yourself out for exactly ZILCH!
