OMG I GIVE UP!!!:mad::mad::mad:
I just checked my invoice and there are 18 items missing that i know i ordered as they are there on my order print out!!!!
i have to go disapoint a load of customers now on wednesday telling them they are going to have to wait for their items!!!!! and then make a special trip when the items finally arrive!
im MORE than fuming..... im more and more ready to jack this all in.. i worked out im visiting some customers 6/7 times a campaign thanks to them and avon!!! sick of it.
Know i should be made up to be doing "so well" but for the amount of work im putting in its getting to be a joke.
Sorry. rant over.0 -

just cannot do one of those freaky ones. x0 -
Oh no! I know how you feel....does anyone acctually work out their hourly rate from avon? I'm working mine out as it just doesn't seem worth it atm...0

Haha no never have. To start with its a lot of work for not a huge return - but in time, once you get quicker at everything, customers get used to leaving books out / letting you know if they won't be in for deliverys etc then it gets better.
The way I look at it - I couldn't get another job that would fit around my full time job, and nor would I want to, I can do as much as I want with avon, and cut back when I need to, like we did while we had family matters that were more important. Its something I enjoy (most of the time!), means I can get my own toiletries cheaper / free, and get better presents for people that don't cost as much.
Big hugs johanne {{{{{hugs}}}}} some days its crap! We did deliveries on Thursday. One customer bless her text us that day to say she wouldn't be in as she was in hospital as had her baby, to come next week, made me smile as she still thought about avon and didn't want to mess us around. However another customer on the other side of the street (who i have to say we aren't much for - OH saw the bloke pratically naked last time bar a tiny, dirty, towel!!!!) weren't in, left a calling card. Friday OH gets back to a voicemail - you tried to deliver our order today, but your letter said you should have been delivering last night, we wondered what where you were, you can try tonight.
!!!!!! - why would we try to deliver on a random day, we've been there reps long enough that they know we go on the day & time we said, even managed it when there was loads of snow. And we couldn't deliver last night instead as we were both out!!! OH left her a suitable voicemail in return and funnily enough we haven't heard back yet. No great loss if we don't - means we haven't got to see a naked man again lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
A lady at work is 40 soon, we'd been wondering what to get, and as she loves avon stuff (but can't afford to order much regularly) I've got to put an additional order in to get her some bits before her birthday.....so shall be bumping the order up to £148 (charging brochure price still, as at least with the 25% discount on the £8 of stuff we're getting her, it'll help cover the delivery charge) with HT products - figure I can photograph them and do a review on my facebook group and then send them back lol.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I felt like that on Thursday! Delivery day for me for C13 and I also had books to collect and worked very hard. One order!
Half of the coustomers are away-have loads to send back-one cannot pay but is honest about it and I do sympathise and I will not hold it against her as she has been so honest with me-shame though as the order Im sending back of hers was £34.50-my biggest order! Which of course is also the reason for her dilemma.
Today I collected from new customers in new territory but my present customers had no order.
Still got a lot to deliver on Tuesday. Order was approx £300.
Returns approx £100-collected approx £100. Oh dear!
Never mind-Im a determined so and so. I worked hard for a couple of hours today picking up books. One woman(Im thinking she was my mystery phone caller)was out and I saw her hubby. So I returned later when she was in as I arranged with her hubby and she said there was no note in my book saying collection date etc and I MUST always phone first. Now Ive not actually had an order before from her as she had a rep further away who ordered for her as a bit of a favour and now she is going to order from me so I will see if her "attitude" is worth it.
However-"funny" customers or not I will manage her! I asked her to leave the book out for Tuesday-to make it easier for both of us(me is what I really meant)-quite a stroppy old woman! Anyway, so far my C15 orders are adding up to about £100 so I have hope!:D
Hoping it will double anyway-but heck-Ive worked my socks off this week!A lady at work is 40 soon, we'd been wondering what to get, and as she loves avon stuff (but can't afford to order much regularly) I've got to put an additional order in to get her some bits before her birthday.....so shall be bumping the order up to £148 (charging brochure price still, as at least with the 25% discount on the £8 of stuff we're getting her, it'll help cover the delivery charge) with HT products - figure I can photograph them and do a review on my facebook group and then send them back lol.
Some of my customers this time I want to "catch up" so Ive given them 2 books and the way I have put it is they can order from both of them-the orders will be delivered together, the benefit being that they can pick out the best prices from the 2 brochures and get the best deal. One new lady I was colllecting from today(new territory)had not had time to look at the book so I popped out to the car and got her the c15 book to go with her c14 book and explaained this-she was looking at the kids shampoos. Now I could have just collected her brochure and told her Id pop in the next one but I prefer to give them a "great" deal and chat them up!
Hopefully she will have a nice order for me on Tuesday when I return. I also put out most of my books again-sat in my car rebagging them.
Ive now got 2 little tray things in my boot-like my chemists put the prescriptions in if that makes any sense! Ive got my goods lined up in them in order ready to deliver. They are about 14 inches long-a foot wide and 6 inches deep with holes in the sides-my measurement guesses are prob not accurate but hopefully you get the idea. Easy to find my orders in the boot and they dont fall over like they do in the boxes.
I think I will buy plastic bags to deliver my orders in also-the Avon paper bags are falling apart on me!
i am not impressed at all with any of their bags so Im now looking for alternatives. I may try a bulk buy of plain white carriers.
Got my vistaprint stamp at last along with business cards. That will save hours of time in the future! Well worth the fiver postage:jAnnual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
well to add to frustration i now have 2 outstanding orders... one from c12!! Im waiting on delivery of c14!
she was meant to ring me by tonight to arrange delivery after letting me down couple weeks ago... she has placed an order this time too! (i popped the new book through with a note gently reminding her i had the order and she text me to say she'd call me) grr!! Thats £16
then i have the woman whose order i have from c13, ive been back so many times (and my mum has since she lives by her a 15 min walk from me).... think between us its 7 times?? thats £18.
Im too soft! Both single mums (like me so not judging) and both always "I dont get my money till "xx" so i hold the orders , but usually they pay up on that day. not this time.
Ive stupidly paid for these out my own money cos i couldnt be bothered dealing with recharges again! But now regretting it.. if they havent paid by next weekend im gonna have to claim credit as ive got 2 weeks to my holiday and no spending money!!!0 -
Nah saw them but figured she might think we were taking the p, so ordered 4 planet spa products.
I use plain White carrier bags for heavy orders, I'll look later where I ordered them from.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I just use Sainsbury's and Tesco Carrier Bags for heavy orders. Ok, doesn't look as professional as Avon Bags but can't afford to buy them and we have the Sainsbury's and Tesco bags and they are being recycled. My customers are ok with it, probably a few surprised faces to start with, thinking that I had brought them food shopping..lol..0
