I am sure I got something around 6 months which surprised me, as most anniversary gifts are around a year.
  • Avon messed up my order a little-I thought Id play safe ordering 2 sizes of pyjamas. One 14/16 and one 18/20. They sent 2 18/20 but invoiced one of each size. Not sure if I need to phone them about that as the code will be wrong on the return as I need to return them both.
Ordered 2 dif sizes bras and larger one out of stock so hope the smaller one fits the customer-so much for my care.
Had a call tonight form a prospective customer saying Id left a book but no date of collection or delivery but I know that I put a slip in every brochure bag. She gabbled on so fast-wanted my landline no-I asked her to give me hers and said Id call her(she called my mobile). She was calling from an 0845 number. I tried to remember the landline she quoted but it was wrong somehow and she spoke so fast and hung up so fast I didn't get it right I suppose. Tried the 0845 no with no luck. Well-sorry but I am not giving out my landline! I am quite happy to call customers on mobiles or whatever. So now just in case she calls Ive done a new greeting on my mobile to say when Im collecting books and delivering orders in the hope she calls again. She sounded a little irate but as she mentioned delivery date I want to keep her sweet! I am collecting books on new territory tomorrow so hopefully I will find her.
I will make sure for anyone who is out that I leave a slip saying when I will call back. I want that customer!(I will calm her down)
One ladys order simply didnt arrive this time-the whole order but I KNOW I typed it in to the Avon website-can only think it didnt save.
I ordered some solutions serum on clearance last time for £1 each-I gave her one of those as a "sorry" gift! She was happy-will order again although the prices have gone up she didnt really seem bothered. Well I just told her the truth-its generally the easiest answer.
The downside is that as it was a customer on a backorder book(all in her road are) I cannot reorder so although Im generally happy having two books on the go it does have its downside. Ive ordered an extra 10 books(40 books)for c16 and will do so over Xmas too so I allow for my larger area. Going to buy my books bags online or in the shops-I do not like the Avon ones which are barely long enough and have holes!
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults

Dont know if it helps but I usually print off my order before I send it to avon. I print the page with prices and check every order crossing it off my print out if the prices/quantities correlate. Takes a little while but picks up any items you sometimes oversee. Mind you - I have still been known to misorder by not checking throughly enough.

BTW, I always give out my landline as my main contact. I do also do mobile and email but most responses come through my landline.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was sure I put everything in, but when I checked through the list an item was missing. I added it to the order and saved it again, and then I sent the order. When I got the invoice it still wasn’t on there!:(

  • Morning all,

My C14 went ok in the end £323.95, only £15 of which was my own order & £35 of stock for my September party so £273.95 of customers orders was ok as it was a struggle this month!
Just rembered that someone asked about my first party & I have not replied, will look for that post & respond later, sorry!!
Already have about £40 of orders for C15, books all prepped to start going out next week.

Nervous as next week I am going back to work after nearly two years off! Done some odds & ends but nothing major! Only two days a week & term time only so great to fit around my children but still so nervous!!!

Quick question, as all the Christmas gifts are coming into the books & I do not want customers missing out, do you bring all your customers up to the most recent book? As I have half on the current campaign & half on the previous book, back ordering. (Sorry hope this Q makes sense!!) Just wondering in case of stock issues for gifts etc.
    C10 - £150.49 C11 - £215.77 C12 - £299.27 C13 - £446.49  C14 - £323.95 :)
    C17 - £610.78 :j:j C18 £367.40

I'd guess it's for completing 10 campaigns. Isn't there a message on the invoice explaining ?

If you go here http://www.avonpinkpamper.org.uk/ you can order a party pack, it has posters & stickers & balloons & a collection pot for breast cancer :) xx
Thanks for the reply, however not really raising money for breast cancer as it is a school parent council organised night trying to raise money for school funds.
is it ok to put a book on the table asking people to write their name and address if interested in receiving a regular avon book?

Yes, there do tend to be stock issues around Christmas but I think thats more down to Avon than which brochure customers are on. The last one or two campaigns, I put everybody on two brochures to try to squeeze the maximum sales. My C1 will come on 13th December which is my last delivery date before Christmas. I then miss C2, starting again with C3 in the New Year (short campaigns, only about 2 weeks on each). This is where I re-adjust who is on current and who is on back order according to how much and often they order. Life would be so much easier if everyone ordered early for Christmas but many leave it til the last minute and C1 tends to be a bit of a sale brochure with lots of offers.
