Johannes top tip of the day: To make the order forms fit in the avon bags cut the bottom of them off just under the "your order will be delivered to...." bit. (they have also removed the punched holes out the bags)

You dont lose anything important just the useless codes at the bottom.Do a batch of them whenever you open a new pack and it saves time and is MUCH quicker and neater than folding them.

Just off to collect rest of my books.... up to £745 for C14 so far and sumbit tomorrow! Much better than i expected! :)

Although got to put and additonal c13 in as 2 customers have been away and only just gave me their c12 orders! Although it opens up some interesting ordering prospects with 3 books to order from ;);)

Well done Suzy180! You've done really well, I'm only at 74 customers and I've been doing it since November!

Well done Johanne! Yes C14 has ended up being better than I expected. Loads of customers moaning that the book was rubbish, but I've got my second highest sales yet!!

And I have been tearing my hair out with customers ordering stuff which I know damn well I could have done a beautiful bit of creative ordering with from C12 - so you are a lucky girl!!

I have probably made zilch profit this time tho as bought loads of christmas presents!!

    Hi
I'm pretty new to Avon, did my first campaign (13) and just got my campaign 14 brochures. Just made target of £149.40 which I was really pleased with considering I've only got 1 street of 17 houses. Only 2 people from that street placed orders as well, the rest came from friends and family.

Is anyone else new to Avon and having problems receiving their territory - how long did everyone elses take to come through?

I also read somewhere further down the list that someone does a handout to put with the brochures highlighting the best offers in the brochure - would anyone be able to send me a copy?

Be great if anyone has any advice at all for me.

    Thanks
    I'm an AVON lady :j

    :hello: Joosh and welcome.

That is quite unusual to only get a few houses as territory. Who signed you up? Was it a Sales Leader or an Area Sales Manager? The Area Sales Manager assigns territory and will tell you what is available and what has been allocated to you for you to canvass.

If you have a look at the first page, there are a few posts with very helpful advice, have a read of these and scroll down too, as some posts got separated from first post.

Do you have children? If so, dependent on their age, do you go to baby groups, school runs, etc? Take books with you wherever you go and show them to everyone you meet. Advertise locally in shops, newsagents, Tescos, Sainsburys, etc. that you are now an Avon Rep and people can ask you for a book.

If you are a mum, put an advert on Netmums.

Talk to everyone you meet about Avon.

The houses you canvassed, did any of them say they wanted to see a book again? could be they want to see how reliable you are before they start ordering, ie you are coming back.

Thanks for quick reply Aureol. A SL signed me up but like you said the ASM gave me my territory, she actually gave me another rep's territory by mistake, which I didn't find out until I went to collect the brochures! I spoke to the ASM last week and my SL today to try and get more territory but still waiting.

I'll have a look at the first couple of pages for more tips. I've posted on Netmums, Yell.com, Facebook, Yahoo, ThomsonLocal, I've also got free business cards printed, I didn't think to put these in the supermarkets so I'll do that tomorrow.

I'll also spread the word at babygroups and outside the school gates!! thanks for this advice really helpful.
