No, I'm not that impressed either. Saying that last year, didn't think people would buy from C1 and C2, and they did. So who knows folks?0

The problem with the system is that a rep may have been allocated an area but not be actually covering it because she's getting enough orders in from either her other streets or F&F. Would be a really good idea if reps let their SLs/ASMs know in such cases as then those streets could be released and re-allocated to another rep. In reality though that doesn't tend to happen. Maybe it's something Avon should look into (anyone with any connections to Avon strategic management looking in on this thread??:rotfl:)
Same process if you are allocated a street you don't want, just notify whoever signed you up and they should release it for you. If you want to be sure you can email your immediate upliner and ask for a copy of your territory as it appears on SMA. (It's a good idea anyway because it wasn't until I became a SL and had access to that part of Avon's website that I realised my own territory hadn't been allocated to me at all! )
Depends a lot on the area manager how good they are RE making sure territory is actually covered. My old manager couldn't care less - but my new one has told me she will be removing territory from reps who only have say 3 customers out of 80 houses, tell the new rep those 3 houses are out of bounds, then both reps are happy. If the old rep never recanvassed, then lots of potential customers aren't seeing a book. Time will tell how she will stick to this, but sounds good. I signed a new rep up this morning, and did territory for her. Territory given wasn't that local (not miles away, but would have been a long walk)...I have a customer on the neighbouring street who hasn't seen a book in months (she found me on facebook), so I'll be emailing my area manager to let her know and see what she does about it, as that road obviously isn't canvassed as my customer hasn't seen her old rep in months!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

we got emailed a link to C1, they want us to order anything we might actually want, so they can predict trends of things people might want.0 -
I got one of those emails for C17 and got excited not realising it was the actual book at the book prices so ordered heaps of stuff. I can see I can get it much cheaper in HT now so how on earth do I cancel that order???I'm an Avon Rep!

do the shampoo and conditioners on p 162. It is for any 4 for £4, so they work out £1 each, which is what they are in C14.0 -
Just had a look at brochure 1, I like the sound of hot chocolate lip balm:think:! However I’m going to wait until the campaign to order. Thanks for your responses about the mineral foundation. It has prompted me to give it a go! I will have to order two shades, one for my pale skin and one for my fake tanned skin:D.M May11 55886.810

Hi Kynnie and welcome
As a fairly long term rep and A PENSIONER  I'd say we're pretty much the same as everyone else really and like make-up, hair stuff, nice undies etc.
If we're talking about the very elderly (over 80???) then I'd say skin creams, room sprays, shower gels and a personal service as some of the older ladies have lost touch with the more modern make up trends and don't know what to choose.
However, please don't insult me by asking if I've heard of Jay-Z or Black Eyed Peas (as a young colleague did quite recently)........yes!!!! I listen to the radio like everyone else  :rotfl:
Hi Elliebee! Thanks for the reply.Goodness, I hope I didn't offend anyone with the question.
Sometimes I do have a touch of foot-in-mouth disease.
Some of them are the very elderly; I'm not sure how much use I'll be with advice however! I rarely use makeup or skincare products so I have quite the steep learning curve ahead of me! I'm a perfect example of how age doesn't denote knowledge on current trends. *g* I'm looking forward to the challenge, however.
(As far as current music goes, I think you're probably more knowlegeable than me on that score as well. I was watching GMTV this morning, and Ross King was interviewing Justin Bieber. I had to look him up to find out who he was! Apparently he's a global superstar or something. :P)FIRST CAMPAIGN - C14: £178.73 :jC15: £316.65:j0
