Just to add, I got 4 pairs of flip flops with my delivery - bit of a mix up when I chased up some missing ones and they duplicated the order. They're size 4/5 and are on £7.50 nett price. Dont know what the stock situation is but if anyone is desperate they're available at that price + postage if you want any.

well i can tell you im right royal hacked off. went to collect my first lot of catalogues today only to find 3 other people are also canvassing the area which we suspected. Out of 100 books we got 60 back so far and only 10 potential customers ordering 40 between them. I have called the girl on one of the order forms we were given to check where she had done so i didn't do it and she had been pretty much given the same as me. She has done all i have left and i ws told by one women not to step on the toes of ones of the girls because she'll be funny. I dont intend to it wasn't exactly my plan. I have nothing left to cnvass now and only a very small amount of orders and i cannot get hold of the manager!. grrr not a good start. im shattered

Oh  this sort of thing really hacks me off! Wonder if Avon will ever bring in a system of 'feedback' so we can let them know how hard things are sometimes made for newbies (sometimes just because of a 'jobsworth' higher up) .....

Know it's impractical to 'report back' the addresses of all our customers but I really do think that some sort of reporting should take place i.e. especially where territory is concerned. I recently came across an instance where a street wasn't being covered at all but the ASM would not (and still will not) release it to a newbie living nearby. The ASM is continually saying 'there is no territory' but if it were tracked more effectively then there definitely would be.....

Always tell my newbies that the hardest bit is finding your initial customers (that's why, recently I've actually signed new reps on and given them some of my customers to give them a flying start) - it's made 10x harder when such overlaps happen too. What a waste of everyone's time, energy and money!

Nothing to do with Avon, but I just tried to call t-mobile to cancel my contract and damn customer service is closed! I emailed them 2 weeks ago and they said I had to call today to cancel! Problem is contract in my name but DH's phone, so had to wait for him to come home from work to take phone and call them . ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This is why I am leaving them!

yes she can. The problem with the return is you have to give her a full refund, but you will only be credited "your cost" for it. So if it cost £10, you have to give her £10 and you will only be credited "eg £8", saying this off the top off my head, as I don't know how much you will be credited.

Is it possible to order her a sample only? That way you are not losing any discount.

Fingers crossed, she likes it and you don't need to return it.
