I had an email to that effect as a pressie for my birthday!!! Think it was as I was an online Avon customer before I became a rep? Anyway, I had to pay postage but the cream was free and I also chanced buying one of the Morgan Rose Weekender bags as they were still showing as in stock. So fingers crossed (I know I wont get any earnings for it but at least that will be one happy customer and a cream for £3.50 for me)

did you check if there were any avon free delivery codes?
I did but it only let me put in one code. I tried a discount one and it just wiped the free gift off
Just found the package in my porch...postman must have left it there yesterday and not put a note through my door. There is no bag or cream so I have paid £16 for a brochure and a Herve Leger Tester. Tried to phone customer service at 16:32 but they closed at 16:30 :rotfl: so have sent an email instead. Not a happy bunnyEveryone loves a bargain :beer:0 -
well i can tell you im right royal hacked off. went to collect my first lot of catalogues today only to find 3 other people are also canvassing the area which we suspected. Out of 100 books we got 60 back so far and only 10 potential customers ordering 40 between them. I have called the girl on one of the order forms we were given to check where she had done so i didn't do it and she had been pretty much given the same as me. She has done all i have left and i ws told by one women not to step on the toes of ones of the girls because she'll be funny. I dont intend to it wasn't exactly my plan. I have nothing left to cnvass now and only a very small amount of orders and i cannot get hold of the manager!. grrr not a good start. im shatteredConverted comper to MSE. Thank you for all your answers!0

Totally unexpected particularly as my small town has lots of reps and they're not near to my territory. Feel a little nervous having to call on them as a result of them enquiring to avon for a local rep. Also you get special codes to order a freebie night cream (I think it is) with your next order as a reward from avon.
Well done, MM, and no need to feel nervous about such letters. These are probably people either in remote addresses or, who have probably seen a recent advert and not had a rep call on them recently. I've had a few of these and I just put on the order form in the Comments section: Hi, Avon asked me to drop you this book in. Normally, there's an order and you get a free Night Cream too. Result! :T
Don't know how they choose which rep to send the letter to (my own SL says she's never had one at all) - the last one I got, I queried with my ASM (who couldn't shed any light on the parameters either) being that I knew the rep, whose territory it was and she's a SL and PC member (like me).... Our ASM replied that if I wanted to pass it on to the other rep then, of course, I could.... :rotfl: Wonder which banana boat she thinks I came in on....;)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

oh furby, I am so sorry. ASM's don't usually work weekends and won't answer the phone or emails until Monday. I know some very good ASMs do check their emails and phone over weekends, but mine never did.
Send your ASM an email, asking her to contact you urgently on Monday, and explain exactly what has happened and ask her for more territory. When did you have to put your order in? 22nd August?0 -

That's awful! And no note about what has happened to bag and cream? ie they are to follow?
What bag was it you were after again? Was it the Rose Weekender bag?0 -

i thinks its the 23rd august on the monday by 10:30pm if im right. I have emailed her to and left a messege. its so disheartening when you have spent so much time doing it. im more confident now though at least i have a lot of 13s to convass with still if im still having to cover more streets in the next couple of weeks. I have about 5 per street to go back to.
i now have stacker trays with my invoices, orders and books in so keep me organised and so i dont lose anythingConverted comper to MSE. Thank you for all your answers!0 -

Mine was a free Ultimate Night Cream x 2 as a thank you for calling on both of these customers. Have an item number I can add to my next order.
I know I'm only a rep and not a customer but all I got for my birthday (tomorrow) was a happy birthday message on my invoice and a card. Bottle of perfume would have been nice...
Thanks MC, am avonning tomorrow so will pop in to see them then.
Sorry to hear of your troubles, Furby although 10 potentials out of 100 houses isn't bad. I should definately chase your SL for more territory and perhaps keep the customers you have acquired (I didn't say that!).Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Oh dear, SG, not good.
Earlier on the thread it was mentioned that the Morgan w/e bag was out of stock. (Actually it's quite tiny too....)
Just a small point, it's sometimes better to place an additional order with the cashback from Quidco rather than pay Avon's delivery charge. All depends on what you're ordering i.e. retail customers get free delivery over £25/35 (?)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
