Hi, I'm new to this NSD - or so I thought. I keep a online spending diary and have noticed that I am fully capable of having at least one NSD a week (Usually at the weekend), so I shall start at 8 NSD a month!Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW Member 1205!LBM Aug 2006 - Debt £35K. Great bargain with the hairdresser Dopey & well done you for going for it!!!
Have to admit i always use the little "blue rinse brigade" hairdressers just up the road from me & always get a cut & blow dry that's equal to a posh place for 13 squids
Very pleased to say is NSD 2 for me today, am shattered after having a few very busy days DIYing, & my house looks totally like a building site mid boiler install  so think i am going to hide in bed now & rest all my aching muscles... didn't even know some of them existed until now!!!!

Pleased to declare that - despite a trip to Mr M after final reductions - today is NSD #5
(Went down for the snack foods for my voluntary work tomorrow - gets refunded, so doesn't count as a spend)
Had a word with DS yesterday about the rate the milk was going - said that I hadn't bought more in one go than normal just so he could drink it faster, and pointed out I'd bought his pop for him which should actually reduce the amount that gets used. His response was that the pop was warm, and there was no space in the fridge......
To be fair there hadn't been, but I'd used some bits from it so did a rejig such that he could get a bottle in - and the milk (that I thought I might have to replace today) will certainly last until tomorrow..... and possibly even until Thursday morning, when I'm already planning to spend a small amountCheryl0 -

did a bad thing
hair has been growing like mad cos I can't afford the hairdresser I used to go to (£90 + shampoo that they always sell you) so friend and I have been cutting our own and each others with limited success. But when I got up this morning I looked like Worzel Gummidge on a bad day........stuff hair up in bun.
Saw empty hairdressers on my travels.
Popped in
Dopey "can you trim 1 inch off my hair all round without interfering with style?
Stunned hairdresser "yes, if that's what you want"
Dopey "thank you, can you do it now I'm a bit hairdresser phobic?
Stunned hairdresser "yes if that's what you want"

:rotfl:Loving this. Very cheeky and very MSE. :money:would be so proud of you :TNSD # 2 today.
Clocked up number 2 today, ate lunch and dinner from the freezer, had a treat of Raspberry and White Chocolate cake baked by a collegue.
Can it be classed as a NSD if you spend someone else's money?
Yep. I do it all the time:o:o:o:o

:T:T Well done :T:T. Can I ask which magazine?
No NSD today as the money for DS1/2s school class photos came out of the bank today. Looking good for tomorrow though.:)

Number 3 for me today
Well done on the hairdressers PDD!! I tend to put it off for so long (up to 18 months is my record) that when I do go it ends up costing a fortune. And every time I promise the hairdresser I'll go more frequently (she reckons every 3 months will do and work out cheaper) and I still find other things to spend my pennies on.
Had veg and spuds from the garden for tea, with a meat pie made from whoopsied steak and kidney - absolutely gorgeous and cant have cost more than a quid. Still enough pie left for tea tomorrow night!Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Not an NSD for me today, but I stayed within budget and stuck to list only had to buy a bar of chocolate so that dgs could make crispie cakes. That was a bad idea as the combi oven burst into flames and the fire brigade arrived and oh dear it was bedlam as oh's cares were trying to get oh to bed and he slithered to the floor when they came to help me and then he needed the loo and I used to work for the fire service so i got th you should know better lecture :rotfl::o:A0

I then followed him right through the first estate, across a bridge which was on a large piece of common land, into my estate, and then into my street
He stopped 2 houses before mine (so I had to squeeze past), and it turned out the lady had set her kitchen units alight with her toaster (guess that had set alight and spread) - but she couldn't find their home extinguisher so had to call them out.
She worked for the brigade (on the switchboard) and her DH was actually a fire-fighter...... added to which he was on duty at the time, so there was a chance he could have been on the appliance they sent out
Apparently they both got a LOT of ribbing at work for months about that one :rotfl:Cheryl0
