not one for me
did a bad thing
hair has been growing like mad cos I can't afford the hairdresser I used to go to (£90 + shampoo that they always sell you) so friend and I have been cutting our own and each others with limited success. But when I got up this morning I looked like Worzel Gummidge on a bad day........stuff hair up in bun.
Saw empty hairdressers on my travels.
Popped in
Dopey "can you trim 1 inch off my hair all round without interfering with style?
Stunned hairdresser "yes, if that's what you want"
Dopey "thank you, can you do it now I'm a bit hairdresser phobic?
Stunned hairdresser "yes if that's what you want"
Hairdresser does what I want, and only charges £9 Hair looks good and almost the same as very expensive hairdresser, first time in my life that the hairdresser has
a done what I want
b not sold me anything extra
c made a happy Dopey leaving the shop
very MSE I thought..........More than Two Years in

NSD # 2 today.
Clocked up number 2 today, ate lunch and dinner from the freezer, had a treat of Raspberry and White Chocolate cake baked by a collegue.
Can it be classed as a NSD if you spend someone else's money?Debt-Free Wannabe / Long Haul Supporter 238 - Proud to be Dealing with my DebtsLBM Moment June 2010 DMP with CCCS Started August 2010Total Debt at LBM = £17,602.74 / Current Debt = £16,285.76 / Cleared = £1.316.98 (7.5%)0 -
Had to buy a birthday card for my dad today - just 89p so could have been worse.
Also bought a bargain pair of sandals in the sale, reduced from £25 to £7.0 -

NSD no. 2 for me today now back at work.
Aiming for another one tomorrow and then will need some more milk on Thurs or if I need it tomorrow I'll swop the NSDs round mind you will need to do the weekly shop on Fri so might try and stretch the milk out to last until Fri if it doesn't go off and then can have some more NSDs
Soz that sounds a little rambled - just the thoughts tumbling out of my mind and the NSD aiming for and how just buying some milk will eat into themfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well, still no NSDs yet but I did get bacon and eggs off the market from a local game and poultry supplier, and it cost me about a pound less than I would have paid for the same stuff in a supermarket. Just goes to show that buying local often is better! (I will try and get a NSD in somewhere soon, promise, cross my heart, tie a knot in me neck with whipped cream and cherries on the top!)One life - your life - live it!0

develop a big brass neck, if you are happy just to have a cut, just pick an empty one, say you are busy (true) and you just want a quick trim, if they have any business sense about them they'll say OK, a dry cut better than no one in the chair.
they probably make the money on the washing/massaging/finishing etc and if you can dispense with all of that, then it should leave around a tenner for the actual cut.
can't believe I did that to-day, once again the aliens strike somewhere in my noodly head..............More than Two Years in
