Oh Pooh bears! Cheryl, I've messed up already.
Thought I had a DD coming out today so took my monthly money out today and bought a naughty Mr T chargrilled chicken & bacon pasta for lunch (Mmmmmmm). Just checked my bank account and no DD , it's due on Monday.
Spolit an NSD for nothing as I wouldn't have had pasta/taken money out if I'd realised.
Spend day tomorrow as I have to do the groceries.
So Spoon, no NSDs to declare as of yet.
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

:hello:Hi all NSD'ers
Hope everyone is ok.
Well today was a spend day as I knew because I was meeting a friend for lunch but kept it low
Soooo as I know being organised is good after that I went shopping for the month (got milk etc to freeze and some reduced bread to do same). topped up the leccy, topped up petrol and got tobacco. So I'm hoping that will keep me on the straight and narrow for a while. (I even kept to my list-even the bread was on it so fact it was reduced was a bonus:) )
Also paid £10 off my card for 100 day challenge and got rid of the stuff for recycling so am quite happy despite being a spend day.
Well done all who have got NSD's so far :T
See you all tomorrow :hello:

Hi Spoon! :hello:
May I be put down for 11 NSDs this month please? Last month was really good fun (though I think I was a bit too ambitious with my target!!) - all the encouragement was brill! This month I know I have quite a lot on (Henley Royal Regatta this weekend to name but one!) but I really want my pony!!! *stamps foot like the only child she is
Good luck everyone!! Let's fire up the frugal-ness!! :j

Have a great weekend everyone!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
NSD Challenge: October 0/140 -
Another NSD for me today, unintentional though. I was going to nip to the shops for fridge stuff as we are running a bit low on milk and yoghurts and juice, but I fell asleep for 3 hours this evening.
So thanks to me feeling generally yuck the pennies stayed in my purse for today! :T

Spend day for me Spoon as Friday always is, with car boot and shopping but did buy a lovely dark brown & sparkle top to go with brown trousers I have yet to buy!! The top is chiffon-y over a camisole and I think it is glittery enough for one of the formal evenings, but we will see what trousers I can get to go with it first.
The 'posh frock' I got last week is black lace over a dark beige-y lining, straight across at top with narrow black straps - just have to get a new bra to go with it as all of mine are 'practical' ones not pretty narrow strap ones, and I need one that is cut a little lower if you know what I mean !!!The posh frock was £3 off a friend at the car boot and the top I got today was £4 from British Heart Foundation charity shop, so nothing spoilt if I end up finding something else better so I will keep looking - after all, hubbie now has 2 evening suits and 2 normal suits for the princely sum of £21 from car boots/charity shops!!!!!!!!!!
But the thing is we couldn't afford this holiday, or any other if it come to it, if we were paying ourselves, and can't afford to buy new clothes for a trip that includes 2 black tie dinners, so this is the only way we can do it - and I love a bargain anyway, it's the thrill of the chase Spoon - very MSE :money:
Anyway, may not get my normal NSD tomorrow as we saw a couple of bits at the auction this morning so we are going down there tomorrow to see if we can get them - will report back tomorrowMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
