Tomorrow's out because I need milk and bread, but thursday is looking very possible. If I manage it that'll be the last one to meet my target this month.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

Just back from vets, puss has cystitis, vet said I was right not to leave it as we can nip it in the bud, otherwise he could've got a blockage which is potentially fatal.
He got antibiotics, anti inflammatories and special diet. Apparently he has a wee roll of fat around his tum which wont help the pressure on the bladder so he's on a diet! I didnt think he was overweight but there you go!
Anyhoo - £90 to the vet, but worth every penny as I couldnt have my wee fluffball suffering.

I didnt spend anything else today so as the £90 was out of the emergency fund - Im claiming a NSD - 16 for me now! Thanks

Away for a lie-down and a nice cuppa!:)

Sunnylooloo - thanks for the gold tip - sent mine to Hatton Garden Metals - fingers crossed!;)

JintyB, I know this sounds really silly but I didn't think boy cats (or boy anythings) could get cystitis! Hehe, you're probably all going to laugh at me now! Oh well, you learn something new every day!

NSD 15 for me - I've met my target woohoo!! with 4 days to spare. Not going to aim for a new target though, quite happy with my little 15. Might brave an increase to 16 next month.

Aww poor little cat jintyb, my little puss suffers from the same thing and he's been on the special diet for a year now. Luckily he loves it, its a bit more expensive than normal cat food but worth every penny as I never want to see him suffer like that again. Hope your lad is feeling better soon :)

Depending on where u live what about students....

Am wondering about medical students, cos i've heard they are too busy studying to get up to mischief!! Or maybe a mature student.... not sure any old student would really work, i'm not sure i could live with anyone too young, especially with my no overnight guests rule!!!
Phew. Yes where my new lodger is now - they really only took him on my recommendation. I know that Mr Looloo's ex wife was a bit funny knowing we had a lodger when the kids came to stay - but we assured her we knew him and he had his own son who also came to stay (and as I said we hardly saw him)

I think a friend of a friend is the best thing or someone's work colleague. It is very hard as you do have to be so careful, but I think some simple ground rules, a depostit etc will be ok. If you do decided I have a draft of a simple contract (not sure how legal it acutally is) that my friend signed in his new place - it's a word document so you can play around with it - so let me know and I will email it to you.

Gosh today is dragging and the magic filing fairy had not appeared yet so best I get on and do it!!

    xx

Sunnylooloo, thanks you've been so helpful i've sent you a pm, as i'd love a copy of your contract, you are an angel :A
This weekend's outing......the chav alley cider bash is a possibility, no need for too many balloons or banners, just a few fairy lights to shove up in BDINI's back passage. Scrumpy, anyone?
Well i trust you all with the key but i think i'm gonna have to beg you to put this outing off till i'm home as it sounds soooo much fun i have to be there!!!!!
Nargle your outfit sounds fab you'll fit in perfectly!!! :rotfl:
& i tell you, my poor back passage has never been the subject of so much attention :rotfl:

Jinty hope your poor puddy cat is on the mend?

Not going to hit target now as i've spent again today
My only real friend from my brief period living in the West Midlands rang to tell me her husband has left her, so i agreed to go & stay a couple of days at the end of the month & after finding a really good deal on train tickets had to book them today. Debated not counting it till i use them, but that would be cheating as i have spent the money today!!
Still can't believe i am upset about "only" getting 15 NSD's this month, 6 months ago i wouldn't even have been close!! (good job Johnny isn't really an object of my lust!! ;))
