Strawberry and chocolate cupcakes - that's starters done, what about main course? I mean, we are having food at this chavbash, aren't we? Not just the fermented apples?

If we're having a chavbash, Nargle, it's got to be burgers and hotdogs with loads of onions and ketchup from a nearby burger van, washed down with plenty of scrumpy and cupcakes afterwards, yummy:D:D:D

NSD No 19 for me today please Spoon. One more day to hit my target. I am actually hoping I don't have any more spends days for the rest of the month... but time will tell.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Hello Spoon and other lovely money savers!

Made it to 9 today . It sounds really silly, but it's really changed my attitude to things. I've been making my lunch and taking it to work, and eating it! Previously, I'd make a half-a*sed job of it, not plan it, bland and boring ham sandwiches, so I'd give in and go to the shop for a magnificent wrap or even the chippy across the road from my office

Now, with a little bit of preparation, I've managed to make appetising lunches for cheap, which I really want to eat. Saved a fortune already.

Have to have a spendy day tomorrow, as put my friend's coffee off til tomorrow. It's not too bad, but I think I have to remember to actually restrain myself. I think I've been caught out before, when it's not a NSD, it becomes a massive spendy day. Attempting to stop this by only taking a fiver with me. And I'll want change.

Thursday is the big day then, my first target as Smilerwoman! Fingers crossed!

Just back from vets, puss has cystitis, vet said I was right not to leave it as we can nip it in the bud, otherwise he could've got a blockage which is potentially fatal.
He got antibiotics, anti inflammatories and special diet. Apparently he has a wee roll of fat around his tum which wont help the pressure on the bladder so he's on a diet! I didnt think he was overweight but there you go!
Anyhoo - £90 to the vet, but worth every penny as I couldnt have my wee fluffball suffering.

I didnt spend anything else today so as the £90 was out of the emergency fund - Im claiming a NSD - 16 for me now! Thanks

Away for a lie-down and a nice cuppa!:)

Sunnylooloo - thanks for the gold tip - sent mine to Hatton Garden Metals - fingers crossed!;)
