Number 13 for me today :j even gave up the pub tonight so i have a chance of making it!!! (thank goodness for the wine box)
Think i have just turned up the wattage on my lightbulb, after realising that my balance transfer rate on 1 of the credit cards has ended & interest is now 22%
Am going to start with not social smoking when i pop to the pub anymore, & i'm not buying any groceries (apart from fruit & milk) until i've used up everything i've got (why oh why do i buy fresh veg every week when i've got a ton of frozen in the freezer????)
I've also downgraded the kitchen plan, if i have normal cupboards instead of the fancy wire draw ones i'd picked i can pay a bigger chunk off the expensive credit card, & i'm going to get a lodger as soon as the kitchen is done & the downstairs is habitable  this is something i've been debating for ages & as much as i don't want one because i love my own space it's got to be done, because £300 extra on debt repayments is massive....
Plan for tomorrow, check my utility bills are the cheapest & downgrade my life insurance (i know i shouldn't bother with it at all as i have no dependants, but my mum is useless at looking after herself & i owe my dad so much for making this house purchase possible that i feel i should leave them something in case i die young  just not as much as i have been planning & it's really stupid to have a huge figure for the length of my mortgage as my debts WILL NOT last that long!!)
Right the new improved MSE BDINI is going to wash the pots & head for bed :A please kick me up the a**e if i slip up on this, it has to be done!!!!
Hi BDINI,
Just wanted to say I think you're doing brilliantly, you've achieved so much since you joined this challenge those short months ago. You should be really proud of yourself and, don't worry, you'll get there if we have to kick your a**e every day between now and whenever your DFD is going to be.:D
Well done

After that, my next stock-up will be Monday of next week (as D/Debits don't leave my bank on a Sunday - and I don't plan to be around home to go shopping on Sunday anyway
)
Hope you had a good weekend with OH:)'Twas a weekend of nothing for him, but I went to try out a 5-mile run on Sunday morning - and he was great about my getting up earlier than was really necessary and 'disappearing' for a while to do so
He did say he'd have gone with me if it wasn't for his leg injury the previous week, and is now threatening to drag me on runs around a number of parks in his area on a Sunday morning as a regular thing....
He enjoyed the chocolate coated coconut Twinks I made and took up (left him the last 3 for his supper on Sunday but still had half the batch at home for me, so not as generous as it sounds), so I'm hoping to get the Florentines done to take up this week along with some chocolate coated ginger Twinks. I don't think he and his son are the types to get involved in home-baking (other than the eating of it), so taking some up was well appreciated - and at last I seem to have found a way to contribute to food used over the weekend without his objectingCheryl0 -

Hi all (ugggh just typed up a message and it disappeared on me!)
Spend days today (cinema - free ticket but will eat afterwards) and tomorrow (buying Mr Looloo's birthday pressie) but I think I can make either Thursday or Friday NSD's or ever both (gosh it has been such a long month this month!) so spoon I will up my taget by one - as I think next month I will struggle as got a lot going on.
BDINI - just saw your message about the lodger......... I had a lodger for years and I must say he was lovely - we hardly really saw him - he kept to his room most of the time (it was a large room) he recently came back to stay with us as he broke up with his girlfriend and he worked shifts so we did hardly see him again (although this time I did feed him as he was back as a friend not lodger)
I think you need to get some ground rules in place as the main thing is you don't want to feel uncomfortable in your own home - i must say the money from him at the time was a godsend and I did struggle when he moved out but we coped.
Also please get someone you can totally trust (my ex lodger has now moved into a flat with some friends of mine on my recommendation) as I have heard some nightmare stories esp about identity theft etc.....
Sorry that now sounds like I have put a downer on it - but I honestly had a really good experience.

Today will be my 7th NSD I'm delcaring early as I've left my purse at home and if I declare early then I won't be tempted!

Yay :j
Luckily power had been restored when I got home so I had no need to resort to takeaway which meant I managed another NSD which I am reliably informed takes me up to my target 10 for this month. Which means a dancing kitty please Spoon.:j:j
Hmmm - is there still time for a revised target?
I am away Fri & Sat so will be spending then, will need to get diesel before then - so I might be able to do 2more NSDs this week.
Spoon please revise my target to 12.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
