You are still making me feel very lazy, and I didn't go on a run today as I said I would
Tomorrow is another day though, and it's a cycle to work day, it'll save me some money at least
(as well as the fitness benefits and the smug feeling when I see my co-workers drive in)
And where to keep it at work is also a problem. I know one chap takes his bike through the store, down in the stock lift, and out into back (delivery) yard - so I suppose it would be the same for anyone, but they'd probably have to stop this on H&S grounds if too many people tried cycling in
Anyway, tomorrow is a 'rest day' for me. Don't need to get up early, as I don't start work until 1pm. Normal finish is 5pm, but I've got holiday cover so am doing 'close and clean' until 8:30pm again this week.
Thursday I have another club run at 6:30pm - 3.8 miles or thereabouts - after work (1-5pm)
Plan to have rest days Fri & Sat (work 1-5pm Fri and holiday cover 7am-12:30pm Sat), but am hoping to go and try the 5 mile race route on Sunday. If I'm up at OHs it isn't too far from his house, so worth having a bash to see how I feel about it before paying my £7 entry fee.......Cheryl0 -

I live too close to work to get a bike out - only takes me 8 mins to walk
And where to keep it at work is also a problem. I know one chap takes his bike through the store, down in the stock lift, and out into back (delivery) yard - so I suppose it would be the same for anyone, but they'd probably have to stop this on H&S grounds if too many people tried cycling in
My cycle will take me about 20-25 minutes (there is a bit of uphill-ness:mad:). Luckily we have an underground car park so that's quite handy and I actually don't think there is anyone else in the entire building that cycles in so there isn't a problem for space to store my bike!Spam from EricSmith reported

Today went
5:30am - up
7am - 4pm work
4:30pm - home. wash the pile of dishes/pans (I'm a lazy slob, and don't do it every day!), catch up on a couple of forums, map out the route for a 5 mile race in October which I'm almost certainly going to enter (though OH has dared to suggest I should ask work for the full week after as holiday rather than the 1 day I've applied for as recovery time!!!), cook and eat tea, chat to DD on the phone (for almost an hour), and get ready for swimming
8:20pm - out for swimming
9:50pm - home from swimming. did the same 20 lengths as last week, but due to coping with fewer/shorter breaks I shaved 15 mins off my time :TAnyway, tomorrow is a 'rest day' for me. Don't need to get up early, as I don't start work until 1pm. Normal finish is 5pm, but I've got holiday cover so am doing 'close and clean' until 8:30pm again this week.
I'm sorry, but that's a rest day?
How do you keep going?
