Took hubbie to dentist this morning but he was feeling sorry for himself afterwards so we came straight home

Then tonight, 'cause someone (not mentioning any names If Wishes) posted pics of fresh cream scones on Notice to Newcomers 7, he wanted some himself - to make him feel better (men ) We had a few scones somewhere in the freezer but he wanted more than marmalade on them and that was all we had in the house (we don't buy butter/marg/spread and certainly not cream)

A little later, we had to unexpectedly go out to the kennels, and we called at As*a but they had no fresh cream scones. However they did have 6 buffet pork pies reduced to 50p so he was happy with them as long as I also bought some Chocolate Hazelnut Spread to put on the freezer scones (men - again ). While we were there, I got a few more M*llerlights, and 2 lots of celery reduced to 20p each. However, I returned 2 bras I had bought the other day as they did not fit (with my weight loss) so I used that money only to pay for all these. Result - nett no spend

So I am declaring NSD NUMBER 10 today, Mistress Spoon

Well done to all those getting likkle dancing kittykats - I should have mine any day now but I really do't know what my 3 dogs are going to ake of it :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Ninth Anniversary
Evening everyone, today was a spend day and tomorrow will be also. :( Hasn't the weather been vile today, got soaked while taking the pooch out walkies and still drying off now. :D

Spoon thanks for pushing up my pledge to 14, I'm gonna try sooooo super duper hard I want that Johnny Depp! Yum!

Day off tomorrow and Mr Candyapple has kindly given me a list of *ahem* essentials that we need, hopefully if I get them all in 1 go it saves me sacrificing another NSD later on this month, thats the theory anyway we will see how it goes.

Off to catch up on last nights soaps now with a well deserved cuppa (working day seemed to last about a week today)

    :A

Spendy day for me today, as I said this morning, had shopping to do and had to top up my Oyster card this morning. Don't mind too much though....did a fab job of bargain hunting at A$da this evening, got SO much stuff...whole chicken, 2 types of beef mince, lamb mince, chicken thighs, bacon, sausages - and that's on top of fruit, veg and other staples like rice, pasta, etc!! :j

candyapple, the weather here has been fine and dry again, but so muggy and hot - it's just yuck! We need a storm down here to break the heat!

Missed you all yesterday when i was too busy throwing my toys out the pram to post (bl**dy tradesmen!!!)

Still am back now & declaring number 10 :j
It's funny how much i feel i am struggling being at "only" 10, yet it was a miracle when i first even managed to get 10... still a few days left of the month, if i'm careful i might just do it *crosses fingers & hides purse*

Big congrats to all with big news & hugs & chicken soup to the poorly people!!

Oh & thank you for the florentine Jo, it was soooo yummy & went very well with my cuppa (see, no wine lol!) :coffee:

    Today went

    5:30am - up
    7am - 4pm work
4:30pm - home. wash the pile of dishes/pans (I'm a lazy slob, and don't do it every day!), catch up on a couple of forums, map out the route for a 5 mile race in October which I'm almost certainly going to enter (though OH has dared to suggest I should ask work for the full week after as holiday rather than the 1 day I've applied for as recovery time!!!), cook and eat tea, chat to DD on the phone (for almost an hour), and get ready for swimming
    8:20pm - out for swimming
9:50pm - home from swimming. did the same 20 lengths as last week, but due to coping with fewer/shorter breaks I shaved 15 mins off my time :T

Only spend was 20p for locker at the pool, and that's from my (excluded) keep fit budget ;)

So I can also declare today as NSD #15 :D

    Well done on No.15, cw18!! That's brill :T

You are still making me feel very lazy, and I didn't go on a run today as I said I would :o Tomorrow is another day though, and it's a cycle to work day, it'll save me some money at least :D (as well as the fitness benefits and the smug feeling when I see my co-workers drive in)
