Well I'm trying to keep up with all of you...

Today was a planned spend day, two DDs today, mobile and credit card, credit card should disappear after this month because my offer runs out at the end of the month so I will pay it all off.

Brought weekly bus ticket and food for lunches, only came to £3.99 in Mr S, less than £1 a lunch is pretty sweet! Why did I not do this earlier?

I am leaving my purse at home tomorrow so I should have an NSD to take me up to my target, yay!!

    Night all

Broken hearted: oh no to the mortgage company, really sorry to hear that:(. Hope you get it sorted asap
Nargle: oh no to the puncture, what a booger:(, but some good spends as a result of it - like the sound of the strawberry vodka.:D
Re tomorrow, as the money has been put aside already you can have an NSD provided you don’t spend anything else - I think that’s fair
karenccs67: oh dear to the emergency appointment today, and sorry you’re feeling so bad:(. Hope you get better soon.
Keiss 21: :eek:to the spendy day, but great news about the books you don’t have to buy and well done for the Distinction grade, you must be really pleased with that:T
TMVen: oh dear to spendy day and even more oh dear to your to do list tomorrow:(...
    Good luck
GeorgieFTB: we take some keeping up with sometimes, lots going on on here:rotfl:..
Liking the planned spendy day today - sounding very organised. Fingers crossed for tomorrow, about time we had another kitty on the front page - good luck:)

Still on no 14 here, had to get a few bits today but low spends so I’m not too unhappy. Should be no 15 tomorrow for me:)

Off to do the usual update now, see you all tomorrow.

    Rats!

    Rats rats rats rats rats!

Should have been a NSD but blasted car got a blasted puncture in the blasted front tyre so that was £62 gone, just like that! So I thought sod this for a game of soldiers and went shopping.

On the bright side, my car now has four tyres that are all brand new this year so should not need replacing for a while. I also bought some reduced price strawberries and cheap vodka which are now in a Kilner jar festering away on my kitchen windowsill - strawberry vodka in the making! And 2 lots of cutprice rhubarb. One lot is chopped up in the freezer, to become a pie, fool or crumble at a later date. The other found its way in the microwave with an equal quantity of sugar, grated fresh root ginger and a lemon, and is now in 2 jars - rhubarb and ginger compote.

Tomorrow the Ringtons tea man calls, but I have already set that cash aside for him, so can I count tomorrow as a NSD? If I don't spend anything of course!

Sorry to hear about your tyre - that's a bu$$er!
However, thanks:T for telling us about Rington's man - I didnt know they still existed -their tea is brill. I'm a real tea fan! Howdo you get them to deliver?

And another one yesterday....bringing me up to 6.

I'd pretty well thrown the towel in this month but the NSD bug just won't leave me alone! I might make my target yet.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

    Good morning everyone!

Belated birthday wishes Kayleighpea, hope you had a good one!

Broken hearted - hope you get the mortage probs sorted

Keiss - well done on the assessments, clever girl!

Jo & Moneypenny - thanks for the chat re the Thames trip, handy to know for the next time I take a trip to the Big Smoke!

Yesterday I got my shopping as planned and knitting was sorted out by Mum. Just have a few rows and stitching up to do now. My friend's baby is not due for another 5 weeks, so the cardi will be done in plenty of time. Have got lovely wool to do another so will start that later in the week.
Working today so it will be a NSD, will confirm tomorrow. I have started just taking only my fare in my purse so I cant be tempted. I dont count fares as a spend as they are "essential" IMO!

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)
