Hello, everyone and a big welcome to our three lovely newbies!
Queenie, that's a fab outfit, love the splash of pink. I got the green version of that Primarni dress from a jumble sale but passed it on to a friend as she loved it so much.
Tsabo - it's the potter's wheel advert and the song's "The Only One I Know".
I'm just back from a lovely car boot sale and I'm chilling with the weekend Guardian and a bag of Lidl Sour Apple rings waiting for the footie to kick off.
Today's outfit:
Vintage polka dot maxi (ebay)
1970's Liberty silk scarf (Local vintage shop bargain)
Green chandelier earrings (Charity shop)
Silver and turquoise ringsand bangles (India and Mum)
Turquoise leather flipflops (Tamil Nadu street market)
Ring-wise, Wage-slave, I'm with the others and would definately go for a quirky vintage ring in silver.0 -
Afternoon everyone I'm shattered, just got back from london, the shoes were fab but I'm glad I took some flats to negotiate the underground on the way back. Managed to clock up 3.5 hours sleep last night so that coupled with a 2.5 hour train journey each way has left me mega pooped. Good thing about the journey was that I was able to write daisy a really long letter so I'll get that in the post tomorrow/monday.
Just gonna chill tonight, wrap up some ebay stuff and keep an eye on listings ending and get an early night, hopefully I'll be able to sleep better with it being the second night on my own.
Oh yeah, I tried a blended ice coffee for the first time today and I think I've fallen in love*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
Afternoon Ladies and welcome to the new ones among us
Been a bit awol lately don't know why - the times just flying DS1 leaves primary school in 3 weeks and then off to the 'big' school - he seems fine though
Goan - I admit I had to google the dairy milk ad, though as soon as it started I knew straight away
Queenie- am loving those shoes you had on, I never seem to find shoes in the chazza shops
Today outfit
Pink and brown jersey skirt - French Connection via Car boot £1
Dorothy Perkins brown vest (had to go and buy this to go with the skirt) £5
Black crocs - am looking for some nice brown sandals but don't want gladiators such not having much look at the minute
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday everyone0 -

Thank youI get a lot of shoes/boots second hand, I guess I'm just lucky. Yesterday was a good day picking up the pink ones brand new for £2 and a pair of, brand new in the box, dune mary janes for £3.95. I do buy used ones too though, some people are funny about second hand shoes...not me though

Ahh, the challenge, Very well indeed, i am very proud of myself, no new clothes have been bought (except for 2 occassions where i have had no paypal money) . The challnege really focused my spending on clothes, i have learnt new skills (dressmaking course, resulted in making 2 maxi skirts) I have also become a second hand addict and making clothes i already own work very hard. I have accessorised in unusual ways and really pushed my comfort zone, and you know what i feel i really 'own' my style. Thank you for asking!!!

fantastic
I think it's fab you've done a course and are now making yourself clothes. And being nearly spend neutral is to be admired. I'm a second hand junkie myself but I buy more than I sell, ooops
pop in from time to time and post your outfits, would love to hear more about your new style hun*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
