    Afternoon all,

Feeling a bit down in the dumps today as DH has decided to go to Go Ape with his friends on Sunday despite the fact that I've been dropping hints about the local craft fair - his reason being that neither of his pals can do the next again week - suppose I'll have to wait til next year :(

Wearing black top and trousers today, monochrome makeup, just cannot be bothered.

Embarrassingly, I saw a nice 50s swing dress on Craftster and started wondering who I had been speaking to that had alleged they didn't suit 50s styles... and then realized it was Goan's blog, not someone I'd spoken to. Oops. Maybe I should head back to bed...

    Hi,

My alarm clock's gone wonky so I was up way too early this morning. That's the next thing I'll be shopping for!

Quite sunny here. Wearing black vest, grey cardi, jeans and black ankle boots.

Best friend's having an op tomorrow that involves a general anaesthetic. Will be collecting her from the hospital tomorrow and staying over at hers to make sure she's ok. Hopefully everything will be fine. Not sure what the effects of a general are - just grogginess for a while?

Sarah - General anaesthetic can often cause nausea so be prepared. A packet of Ginger Nuts and a bucket!

Magpye - What a shame hubby's not playing nicely. I get mixed up with conversations and t'internet, too.

The rain's started again, it feels really chilly, too. Not sure what to pack for the weekend, so far just my mega eyelashes and some neon lippie. Mind you, I am taking part in a naked photoshoot with Spencer Tunick!

Vix, you are brave! Hope you enjoy the experience.

Alex, it's 'local' which here means 'stuck out in the middle of the countryside at a rural visitor centre'. Nobody else is really that interested - my mum lost her passion for any sort of craft a while back and now prefers to just buy stuff. :o

Morning all - DS1 turns 11 today so up bright and early so the presants are prepared - well actually they are and they aren't, all wrapped up and ready but scattered aroudn, need to gather them together - he's just wandered past to go to the loo, hoping he'll go back to sleep but not too sure that'll be happening. Was out for pub lunch yesterday with family, not much planned today but there again he got an Xbox off us so don't think he'll be doing much else than being on that anyway.

Just off to have my first cup of coffee and try and get sorted
