((tea)) - sounds like you've been in the wars!

My people tree order came today, a bit disappointed as I received 2 shirt dresses and I cannot - CANNOT - ever wear shirt styles as they never, ever, fit on the bust and back. Thinking of giving up RTW altogether as they always disappoint.

Purple linen trousers are too short in the leg, I look like I'm wearing them at half mast.

Two t-shirts are fine and the notebook and bracelet are both nice - but not nice enough for £27 methinks.

Sharron, sorry to hear about your son and hope he is fine. Don't know what people these days are using for manners. </grumpy old woman>

Could you wear them open at the top with a vest underneath or would that just look weird?

I think I would look weird - rather like a half-unzipped banana! I've decided to send them back, my love of the tinkly bracelet notwithstanding. I'm off to spend the money at ASOS instead, although probably half of that will go back as well...:p

Tea - great to hear from you again, although sorry to hear your news about what's been happening in your life these past few months. Can't have been easy. Hope you're doing ok.

An uninspired outfit today - jumper and jeans.

Topshop order of a mustard dress arrived today, not sure the colour's me but am having a cheeky glass of red and it's looking better with each sip!

Had rubbish day - not a great day at work, lost bank debit card - hence an unusual Monday treat of a glass of vino as a wind down before bed! Pretty sure I've just lost card rather than had it nicked. Cancelled it anyway.

    xx

Today I wore a black jersey pencil skirt, black vest top and salmon pink cardigan. All from Dorothy Perkins! Felt a bit pants today as life is dragging me down, have to keep reminding myself I'm 20!! Now painting my nails :) x

Tea - Good to see you back but I'm so sorry to hear you've been having such a tough time of it lately. Hope things settle down for you. Big hugs.

Yesterday was so/so. Got some phone time with my boss which made me feel better. Today is a long shift (12-11) but its doing visual work so I'll be happy enough.

Will be wearing my new dress, not very practical for what I'll be doing but I don't care. Will try and blog it tomorrow.

Have a nice day with your friend Alex!

    Hello All!!

Have a fab day in Brum, Alex! Hope you manage a visit to the Rag Market whilst you're out and about, a fantastic place to while away the hours.

Tea, sorry to hear of your misfortunes. My life's been a bit like yours, what with loosing my Mum and my 19 year old cat in the space of 9 weeks. Sometimes I wonder how I got through it but I did.

Bronnie, what a vile bloke. Hope your DD is okay and he's been given a warning for such outrageous behaviour.

Nice thing today, a lady who works with an old school friend saw my blog and asked if I'd like to come and play dress up as she's kept all her 1960's clothes and we're both the same size!! How lovely, I can't wait.

Today is a day of eBaying and doing my roots. We were out boozing last night so my 1940's blog post is only just up. At the moment I'm resplendent in early 1950's garb ready for another photo shoot.
  • Good morning all!!

I have a date with the hoover, mop, duster and washing machine. DD has also asked to bake cakes (again!!) ds3 want's to do some 'schoolwork' (insert confused man) so that's my day

Wearing carpenter?? jeans from sis, black vest m&s and purple frillish waistcaot m&s and birkenstocks. My hairs a bloody mess atm.

Goan- looking forward to the 40-50's, my favorite era. I would have been right at home with Nella Last, in a tea dress with me pinny!! I LOVE the fact you have a friend with a wardrobe stuffed full of 60's clothes, wish i had one of those!!
