Much more successful car boot! I got lots of lovely books, a couple of silk scarves, a green wool Next dress with stripy sleeves that will be fab in the winter and a green chiffon polka dot dress. Plus I met up with Queenie and swapped some shoes for a pair of gorgeous brown boots :D

ETA - I nearly forgot the best bit - a vintage style blue tapestry handbag which is just gorgeous.

  • Hi everyone, I posted this morning but think it vanished! My laptop is poorly and I'm struggling to fix it which is why I've not been around much this week.

Sorry zoes place was rubbish, I couldn't figure out how to get there so decided to go to the cricket club instead which was fab :D got a huge bag of bargains - 2 pairs of boots, 3 pairs of shoes, a pair of jeans, a denim skirt, a jacket, couple of dresses, a shirt, a couple of tops, a sequin t-shirt, a pair of sunglasses, a bangle, fair to say it was a massive haul and well worth the effort :D and I got to meet alex again and do a swap with her, fantastic :D
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Hope you get it fixed soon!

I am sorely tempted by so many things in the Warehouse sale. They're much more reasonably priced than I expected.

    Evening,

Hope everyone's had good weekends. Can't believe it's 1st Aug - cold and wet in Glasgow. Tempted to book a last minute holiday in a couple of weeks time.

Cos purchase on the thingy. Gran said, 'What possessed you to wear shorts?!' but I think she liked them really!

    xx

Queenie and Alex - glad you both had a good boot sale today and got lots of buys. I do wish there were boot sales around here, there is only one worth going to but by public transport its a nightmare.

    Mariel good to see you.

Sarah - teheh I'm sure your gran just meant because it was raining!

I'm kinda down tonight as I'm back to work tomorrow and I'm actually dreading it (unlike me cos I usually love my job).
