My People Tree order came today too
Sorry yours wasn't too good Sharron - can you return it under distance selling regs if there wasn't enough in it?
I'm quite happy with mine although I didn't get any dresses. Got a fab herringbone tweed pencil skirt, plain green v neck tshirt, some navy leggings (all of which I really like), a long sleeved black tshirt which is nice but has a high neckline which may not suit me and a chunky oatmeal knit cardi which is also nice but perhaps a bit grown up for me. Will have a trying on session after work and decide then. Oh and a pack of handmade paper too0 -
Sharron I hope your son is ok, it can be a horrible world can't it?0

Hello All!
Sorry to hear about your son, Sharron.
Hope everyone else is good and had a lovely weekend. I'm busy eBaying, listening to The Cure and looking forward to celebrating Jon's birthday at the Big Chill from thursday onwards. Hope the weather gets a bit warmer tho'. Festivals are always more fun when it's sunny.
Today's outfit:
Vintage paisley maxi skirt (Charity shop of saturday)
Grey ribbed vest (TopShop via jumble sale)
Vintage denim waistcoat (had for ever)
Usual silver bangles, rings and earrings.
Have a happy monday!0 -
Hope the weather picks up for you Vix - very grey and miserable here still
I forgot my outfit:
Indigo skinnies - DP
Brown wooden heeled knee high cowboy boots - swapped with Queenie
Grey long sleeved tshirt - DP
Forest green sleeveless cardi - Primark
Cream pashmina
Various bits of green jewellery
At the grand old age of 27, this is the first time I've ever worn a pair of knee high boots!0 -
Good morning everyone. Haven't been here for a few months now! Basically my grandmother passed away which resulted in my university kicking me out then I lost my job then my dog passed away. Snowball effect or WHAT! Finally starting to feel a bit more 'normal'
. Currently out of work so don't have much to do at all, sadly. Trying to get my eBay sorted out but for some reason it won't let me sell, grr!
I'm just wearing my bfs t-shirt and some shorts, I came to his with about 12 pieces of clothing...! Capsule wardrobes do NOT work :P0 -
Sorry to hear about your past few months Tea, we are all still here if you just want a good old rant/ moan or whatever.0
-
Aww Tea, so sorry to hear about that, hope everything falls into place for you soon.0

(((Tea))) What a couple of months! Hope things start to get sorted out soon for you.0

Tea, sorry about your troublesome times.
Yesterday stayed dry:D in Chester and a good time was had by all!
Food was yummy and DD came home £110 richer after taking off her stake money , having picked 3 out of the 6 winners (including one win of £85 on an outsider.)
Not bad for a beginner! I had 4 second places and 2 thirds, but since I only bet to win.........we'll not mention my losses!
It was karma for DD though, as earlier she had been reduced to tears by a perfectly foul, bullying security man who aggressively and completely unnecessarily bawled right in her face as she made her way back from the ladies, because we were inadvertently sitting in the wrong area.
Not taking things lightly, her friend's mum tracked down his boss and we put in a complaint. By way of an apology for his aggressive behaviour, we were offered seats in the reserved owners and trainers stand right by the finish line. Would still have preferred the incident not to have happened at all, but at least DD had a postive outcome after it and the day ended happily.
There really are some foul people around, I agree.0 -
I teach my kids to treat people how they would like to be treated, with respect. ' It's nice to be nice' (god i sound like my mother). Unfortunatly, not everyone thinks the same. Sorry to hear a about your daughter Bronnie. Another cliche, BUT what goes around comes around
Tea ((hugs))
Mariel- ha your disco goth!! Another blog i love!!
Just back from spending three hours in Calderstones park, kids and dogs all worn out. What a difference dry weather has on us as a family, never thought us as outdoorey types, but clearly we are!!
Alex glad your people tree order was good, my neighbour has ordered one too (same size as me) so i am gonna wait till hers comes and see what she has, she likes the linen trousers in mine so i'll see if theres anything she wants to swap with. I was dreaming of cute tea dresses and floaty skirts- ah well luck of the draw!!
Thanks for all your well wishes for ds!!
Sharron xSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0
