Mia those necklaces are so pretty. I hope you have a wonderful anniversary day out when it comes round.

I decided to check the retail park by work on the offchance (Accessorize means a trip into town) and found a fab cream floral headband in the DP sale instead
Also found myself purchasing a pair of red heels that were in my size and reduced to £7 - rude not to!
Outfit today is:
Ancient black tunic - DP
Black belt with silver shell clasp - Primark
Black tights
Black suede Mary Janes - George
Green, navy and white vintage scarf worn as a headband with the ends trailing down the front0 -
Afternoon all
Just back from town with DS's (spending birthday money again) had planned on getting school shoes but this was deemed far too dull for the boys so it was 'boy' shops with a quick trip into topshop - some nice bits in the sale but August of such a busy month with both boys birthdays and my cars visit to the garage I was restrained and didn't get anything. Managed a quick look in New Look but by this time it was too much for the boys who were collapsing from hunger and from all the shops I was dragging them into - (all two of them).
Nothing planned for the rest of the day - just chillin and watching TV.
Outfit :
Jeans Next via CS £3
Abercrombie top - Bought in US £10
Converse pumps via Ebay £8
Alex - glad you managed to get sorted with your accessories - when is the wedding?0 -
Afternoon ladies,
Alex, i have just been to the retail park too!! So your not carbooting this weekend, i really should stay in and try and not spend either, it's just so flippin hard!!:o
Lola, boys eh!! Mine are exactly the same, they don't 'do' shops unless it's trainers or games consoles. DH is exactly the same. Good job my dd likes shopping otherwise it would be a lonely hobby!!
Wearing jeggings (primark)
flowery vest (tesco, bargainous)
Cardigan via sis
gladiators from carboot.
The heavens have just opened was planning a trip to the 'big' tesco, can't be faffed getting wet tho!!! Off to watch Uncle Buck (again) with dd and have a snuggle!!Sometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Afternoon, how is everyone? Its been pretty quiet on here!
I think i'm coming down with the LO's cold. Not good considering I'm working literally all weekend again.
I checked the weather for Wednesday and it doesn't look good. Trying to convince the OH that we can still have a nice day and a nice lunch. If we do go into town i'm hoping to have a look at the MAC stand in Harvey Nicholls. One of there artists emailed me a list of products that were suited to me and I want to try before I buy them. Only planning on buying a primer (maybe) and a foundation and concealor, Will just gradually build up my collection over time.
Also trying to decide on a new hair style as I'm due a haircut shortly.
Dressed for work in:
Black pinstripe trousers
Old black flatties - chances are ill spill booze on them so the suede ones are a no no.
3/4 sleeve black jersey top
Hairs in a ponytail and styled with my new flower corsage.
Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -
Mia- I'm at the hairdressers next week too, my hair is currently v long, its ok can be straight or wavy but fancy a change, plus I can always tell when its time for a change when all I do is stick it in a bobble!!!!! I'm probably going to have to have a bit cut off its in so bad condition.0

Mia - MAC Prep n Prime is really good stuff so I'd recommend getting some of that. I'm currently swearing by NW20 Select Moisturecover under my eyes - I used Touche Eclat for ages and found it really disappointing and this MAC stuff works wonders. I'm not sure if they do the makeover deal thing at stands cos I had mine done in a MAC store but it was £25 and that's redeemable on whatever makeup you buy so that might be worth doing to try out some new stuff and get some tips?
Lola - wedding is a fortnight today
Sharron - we'll definitely have to meet up for a coffee soon.
I feel rrrrrrrrubbish today. Stupid hormones.0 -
Alex, time of the month is just pants
