  • I live my life like that at the moment, there is so much going on I often feel overwhelmed and just want to sleep all the time, it's just as well I'm still waiting for my disclosure of scotland form to come back and haven't started work yet, I'm not sure that they'd appreciate me crying and wanting to sleep all day!!

Big hugs char...it's ok to fall apart every now and then when it all gets too much xxx
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Thanks queenie !! What's a disclosure of Scotland form for??

Have been dragged to friends' house and he's forced me to eat at least ?and also given me a glass of wine which is making me so sleepy, which is a change!!

Alex talking of roAd trips..I must organise when I get a mo!
  • Looks like that glass of wine went to someone's head ;)

Char - It's like a CRB type thing, criminal convictions etc. I think it's just another company jumping on the bandwagon. I'll be working for a govt agency that uses the criminal justice computer system and everyone has to have one of these background checks before you can even have a log on!

Just about to get dressed and it's drizzly here but apparently it's going to be grey all day but humid, um how do you dress for that! Am volunteering in BHF today so it'll have to be something practical um *goes to peer in wardrobe*

  • Right have settled on: Leopard print Miss Selfridge Jersey dress £2 (carboot), Footless black tights £1 (primark), Knee length flat black suede tassle boots (£3 charity shop), Black New Look batwing cardigan 50p (table top sale), think I'll add a couple of strings of pearls. Prob end up being far too warm later but never mind can always get changed when I get home

Hope everyone has a lovely day x

    ah I see Queen.

yes, it totally did - I'm not usually a drinker, so it has an effect, and I think the fact I am so overtired at the moment as well, and the fact I'd been crying which always tires me out more, didn't help!

    Today's outfit:
Strapless long Laura Ashley prom dress, in pastel pinks and purples..
cream long cardi with navy blue nautical edging, new look
    purple rose corsage, primark
bronze peep toe bow flats, peacocks..

all a little mismatched, but i'm off to a concert in the quarry this evening, and will end up going straight from work, although it looks like it's going to rain :(

I'll go outside and shout at the sky for you, PF! They did forecast a few showers in our area but nothing major!
