Alex - you sound amazing. Any chance of a 'how to' on Victory rolls? I'm desperate to try them out when my hair is finally long enough (it now touches my shoulders again - breakthrough!)
I bought my first 'new' item of clothing for ages yesterday. It was sleeveless Hawaiian shirt with a tie front in New Look. I hardly ever go in New Look anymore but I spotted it on a mannequin and 'had to have it'. Found it in the sale and it was £5. Somethings are just meant to be togetherI'm saving it to wear tucked in to a black pencil skirt tomorrow, but it would also look fab with denim.
Me today:
Pink and white paisley maxi dress (Peacocks)
Brown leather belt made of little discs of leather, if that makes sense! (99p Oxfam yesterday, also got a chain belt - I've been after one forever)
Cream cardigan (Goodwill store in San Francisco)
Hope you are all having good days x:beer:0 -
ooh hawaiian shirt sounds lovely RW!! I'm really liking the hawaiian looks at the moment....although not so much the cropped tops !0

Oh I think I saw that when I was in there a few days ago - it's so funky!
I'm pleased to report that the hair & lippy combo seems to be going down well with the people at work. I've just been told I look like a member of the French Resistance0 -
Oh, has anyone checked out the clothes sale in Sainsbury's? I went at lunchtime and got a couple of cardis - one teal green waterfall one for sis £6, and a short sleeved plum coloured BF cardi, £3.20!!0

I've had some good cardies from Sainsbos in the past. They always wash well.
Does anyone know how I can reshape hats? My two trilbies have been completely squished coming back from holibobs:beer:0 -
Girls, thoughts on this? I do like it but I can't work out if I'm only wanting it cos I'm in a bad/bored mood or not.0 -
I like it, as I tend to like tulip skirts whether they look any good on me or not (usually not)..
Is it expensive if its from UO??
ETA Alex look what you made me find now :S

Yes! Hold them over the steam of a kettle then stuff them with scrunched up newspaper. Should do the trick!
Liking the colour of the skirt, Alex but wish the folds went all the way to the hem.0 -
Was going to suggest newspaper, but i've only been told it for shoes so didn't know if it was good advice lol..0
