Well done Lola - I'm always so impressed by people who customise their own stuff.

I am mildly smitten with this so it's probably a good job it's not available in my size.
  • I know it's really hard to imagine from lists, and i am seriously considering a blog :) although i don't think i am that interesting :( and i'm defo not very technical. And i would never want the in-laws to discover it (we don't speak) and my camera is broke.

    Sharron x

    excuses, excuses :rotfl:
I would love to see you start a blog, I'm sure it would be interesting.

Alex, your hair looks great on the close up. Did you re-do it this morning? If not then it lasted very well.

Yeah Sharron, get started with one. That way I'll know what you look like in case I ever bump into you at the car boot sale :D

Ta guys. I put a bit more hairspray on it this morning but nope, didn't re-do it. I just wish it had lasted that wee bit longer until I took the proper photos!

Daydream, go ape sounds great, my friend really wants to go but we haven't found a day off yet...but it does look fun!

Alex I really like the yellow dress..
Didn't order anything from UO yet, but made £30 on eBay today so I may do tomorrow..

Am so exhausted, and haven't done anything with my blog for ages, feel rly bad about it :( don't feel v happy with my shape ATM either so I'm
not exactly forcing myself to remmebr to take any photos, think that's why I haven't been intersted in shopping much recently. That and I haven't had any time to..

Anyway going to try and destress a little with a book and head off to bed. Night all.

    Outfit today (I hate it):

High waisted floral skirt, h&M (this is the main hated part)
Green / white striped tee, h&m
    long green beads, present
    long black bf cardi, topshop
    black tights
green sequin irregular choice ballet pumps with ribbon ties around the ankle (also hate as i think they make my ankles / calves look huge!)

:( too much to do to worry about outfit though.

Yes! Hold them over the steam of a kettle then stuff them with scrunched up newspaper. Should do the trick!

Oh ta muchly. It'll be a good excuse to buy a 'proper paper' at the weekend.

Alex - I really like that skirt, though I think I'd run out of ways to wear it IYKWIM?

Daydream - well done on Go Ape! I did it once and wasn't very brave!

PF - I'm of the opinion that you should only blog for you, so if you don't feel like it, don't force yourself. I'm sure you look great though.

    Me today:
The aforementioned Hawaiian shirt (New Look sale)
    Black slip vest (Gap)
Billabong Denim Pencil Skirt (£3 from Oxfam)
    Woven thin leather belt (thrifted)

I cut my fringe really short last night, so I feel like I'm channelling a bit of a cut-price Bettie Page :rotfl:

Yay for the hawaiian shirt - i looked on their site yday as well but couldnt' see anything that excited me that much!!

Will probably get back into the blog when this weekend is done.. stressing about it a lot, but i'm sure it'll be ok in the end..it also really furstates me that my blogger comments (on other ppl's blogs) are still not functioning. i don't know how to fix them, but it rly annoys me that i can read someone's blog and not comment on it when i want to :(

Char - don't worry about it hun. It'll be there and waiting when you've got a bit more time. There's no law that says it must be updated every 48 hours or whatever.

I satisfied my shopping urges last night by getting some cheapo bits and bobs in the DP sale. Their coloured tights (which I love as they're such good quality) are about 90p a pair at the mo so I got a few, a stretchy waist belt, a scarf and a cute blue and white stripy jumper.

    Today's outfit is:

    Skinny jeans
Royal blue elbow length sleeved top
Navy suede ballet pumps with flower detail - all DP
Red patterned scarf tied 50's style - free with a Lush giftset
    Red ring - Primark
    Star earrings - New Look
