Have just popped to the River Island sale on the way home and resisted all the pretty stuff I don't need in favour of a grey and White pinstriped shirt which I do need. Also got Daisy a fab pair of Henry Holland tights as a present :)
  • aw she'll be made up with them alex :) it seems longer than 6 weeks she's been away.

How is everyone this evening? I'm on a countdown to sunday for more carbooting, I'm missing my fix not being in the charity shop this week, I've not bought anything since sunday which is a long time for me!

Char I'm sure you're off packing and getting ready now but I wanted to wish you well for the weekend, I just know you'll do a spiffing job my dear :D

To work today I wore black jersey dress (£2.50 ethel austin), with black leggings (50p carboot), brown leather knee length cowboy inspired boots (next via carboot £2), brown cardigan with ruffles (£1.49 charity shop), wooden beads, wooden earrings and wooden bangles. No pic as was in too much of a rush this morning.

This eve I'm wearing, Per Una Skirt - £2.99 Charity shop, Pink Halter Neck Jersey Top £1.80 charity shop, Denim Waistcoat 50p carboot, Birkinstocks £19.99 TJ Hughes, Cameo earrings £2.49 Matalan - pic in the usual place of this outfit :)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

We have guests on Sat night/Sun morning (I say guests, it's only my brother and his girlfriend) so if I can abandon them without looking rude, I'm definitely car booting on Sunday :)

    Outfit today is:

Navy horse print dress - Primark
    White tshirt - DP
    Navy leggings - New Look
    Navy plimsolls - Primark

Still don't think I've worked out a way to wear this dress properly but I have finally changed the buttons from the nasty gold ones to some plain navy ones.

    Morning,

Vicki - your outfit sounds cute. I know what you mean though - sometimes it feels like just wearing the same thing over and over again and it's not worth sharing. But even if you look at the top fashion bloggers they have a very definite style which doesn't vary all that much and you see them wearing the same things a lot. It's mainly about sharing your personal style, because you are unique, rather than having to have the latest fashion or something new. Sorry, long waffle! Shorter version - missed you, glad you're back!

I'm off to Chester today to visit my friend and his boyfriend for the weekend. Have never been before - they only recently moved from Harrogate. Can't wait to see them - our weekends are always full of chat, Pimms, shopping and lots and lots of eating.

    Have a fab weekend.

    xx

    hello :)

Dunno if anyone's about... but can i get any 2nd opinions on this jacket? http://www.joebrowns.co.uk/showPart.asp?part=LJ083
  • Vicki, i am going to appeal the parking ticket, thanks for the heads up:A

Morning lovlies, been busy reading your blogs:D

The dreaded food shop today:eek: just think how many outfits i could buy if we didn't have to eat:p I am sure a bottle of wine or two will make it's way into the trolly as it's the weekend:T

Todays outfit is totally rubbish, Black linen trousers from primark, i am so bored of these it's untrue, green vest primark silver sandles and bangles, feeling totally uninspired, my wardrobe is a bit messy and i can't really be bothered diggin through it so the aformentioned outfit was the result:o I can feel a major trying on/sorting out session coming on.

Yesterday i called into boots and bought a crimson lipstick (thanks alex) and i'm not quiet sure if i should wear it, i always find lipstick quiet messy and find it all over various things so it may be refined to the graveyard for lipsticks.

Hope your all well, weathers rubbish although apparently a heat wave is on its way:j

    Bye for now Sharron x
