    The gREEN Man, Vix??
ETA - ahh, its not what i thought it was!

And thanks, I have a dress in mind to wear, and i think the boys are really going for it with the dressing up = suits and top hats apparently, so I may follow suit with a tiny top hat fascinator or something... :)

Yep, The Green Man, should make a nice change from the chavfest commonly known as V, where we normally go.

I spotted one of those Top Hat fascinators in New Look's window in town last week.

Ha, well thankfully I did not end up with any V tickets = quite glad, as i don't really like the sound of it, as my friend wanted tyo camp for the weekend, and I wasn't happy with the idea :S

I went to V once. Only once. For a festival that's supposed to be 'nice' it had the worst toilets I've ever seen, especially in the campervan field. I reckon Green Man might be my festival of choice next year. I fancy Latitude but it is just such a long journey and I'm not known for my love of travelling!

Mariel, you'd love the Big Chill. Same organisers as Latitude but a lot nearer. It's only in Herefordshire so not too far to travel from Wales.

Char - V is vile. Great line-up but dreadfully commercial and the chart acts just encourage the chavs. After hearing the horrible "Die, Be-atch" chanting aimed at Amy Winehouse a couple of years back and being showered in pee during the Killers last year I vowed it would be my last!

Afternoon or is it evening now?

I went to Whittlebury Hall today for a spa day. I had a head massage, facial, body polish and eyebrow wax. fab stuff.

I've mostly been wearing a swimming cossie and a dressing gown.

I've not been to any festivals for years, I'd really like to go to Benecassim (?SP)

That spa day sounds amazing, Caroline.

I'd like Benicassim for the weather. They held the Big Chill in Goa five years ago, that was fabulous but Indian red tape means they've had trouble organising a repeat.

Hmmm, I've heard that the Big Chill is good, I didn't know it was run by the Latitude people. I bet the one in Goa was brilliant - I take it you went?

Yep, wonderful. My fave place in the world and only £20 for a weekend pass!
